We return from our holiday 2am but our airport is an hour or so away from home.Do we get a taxi home which would be cheaper but we'd be knackered or stay at airport hotel which is £122 inc breakfast but we'd only be there for 8 hours in total. Both have their plus points but option A is a ball ache and option B is expensive. 🤔

By the time you get settled into your hotel room you would be almost home! How long would it take to get to the airport hotel, most are a short journey from the airport?

Taxi is around £80,hotel on airport grounds is £122.East Midlands airport.

Is the prebooked taxi cheaper than just getting into one at the taxi rank?

I assume that you don't drive? We're about an hour from Manchester and just park at the airport and drive home whatever time we land. We usually sleep on the plane, so not particularly tired and it's cheaper and easier than using taxis.

Definitely home! But you seem to want to stay in the hotel...?

I'd taxi is cheaper then do that. Better to be home even if it is later. I love to get back to my own bed.

SpriggyTheHedgehog · 15/04/2019 14:10

Definitely a taxi. An hour is nothing and I'd much prefer to be in my own bed.

@TokyoSushi ye I do but was in 2 minds because of the extra cost.Thank god I didn't post in aibu Smile
