Will trampoline be safe - no tie down kit

I just bought a trampoline and realised i left the tie down kit in store. I won't have a chance to get it til the weekend. My scary neighbour made a comment about it not blowing into his garden. Will it be ok? For a week not being tied down? Ive read about them blowing away and damaging electric wires.

We had one for about 10 years when I was a kid and it was never tried down... we also didn’t have one of those big nets round it 😬 It never blew away and my brother and I still only have one (unrelated) broken finger between us.

We have never tied ours down (12ft one) and it's been fine for years

I didn't know you were supposed to tie them down...Shock We have a 12ft Plum one which is netted and even with the recent very strong winds, it's been the only thing in our garden which hasn't budged an inch.

We only tie ours down over winter. It should be fine this time of year.

We tied ours down when storms were forecast during winter but up till that point had been fine.

My small one was moved up a hill in our garden once in a big storm in its 5 years of life, didn't even come with tie-down kit.

My neighbours lifted straight up out of her garden and over the six foot wall. It narrowly missed the fancy car over the road, and took me and a few others to hold it down then get it back into the garden. I was left hanging onto it shouting until help came.

My 8ft one wasn’t tied down but after it blew around the garden a few times , we used upins to peg it down firmly.

Ours flew overall the wall on the first storm. Get a tie kit tomorrow.

Thanks so much. I felt reassured it will be ok this week but wouldve got a tie down kit at the weekend. However, i found it today!!! It was so dark when i finished putting the trampoline up i couldn't see the box with the tie down kit. Hooray

I'm in Scotland and it isn't that unusual to see them in other peoples gardens or indeed blowing down the street during a big storm. This time of year should be fine though.
