Sky or Netflix or amazon prime?

Which is better?

I've currently got a basic sky package, broadband and pay as you go landline. The landline isnt used.

I've just started using an amazon firestick and have prime.

I've also signed up for a free trial of Netflix.

I don't watch much tv really but as a family we do watch s film once a week and the children watch various things.

My question is which package would be the best value?

I'm paying £45 for sky and despite two attempts to get the price lowered when saying I was leaving they won't reduce it further.

Prime is in the student rate of £3,99 a month

Netflix £5.99 a month

Would prime, Netflix and freeview combined be equal in choice to sky? Or is sky better?

I watch mainly old crime dramas, nothing new or exciting! Seems a lot to be paying for a few episodes of Vera and Murder, She Wrote!

I have now tv (entertainment and movies) prime and Netflix. Someone else uses my Netflix and has their own log in and in turn I use their now tv. I got prime was it was on offer for the year for £59 and Netflix is £7.99 a month (£5.99 for one person to use)
I used to pay for Sky but it's just sooo expensive so this was a good alternative.
I always find something to watch and it's affordable.

Ex was paying 130 a month for sky ! No way was I taking that over. I've got a smart tv and have I player / itv/ all 4 and my 5. We've got Netflix and I'm trialling now tv kids package for 3.99 a month.
Kept sky broad band which is under 30 quid a month.
Haven't missed sky at all except for the record function.

I have Now TV passes, Prime and Netflix. That pretty much covers everything with no need for a TV license. Costs about £20 a month all in.

I could do without Prime, but I find they have a couple of series I really like so will keep it till they ditch those.

We have netflix and prime. £12 a month for the two and we don't need a TV licence.
We had sky at £40 and TV licence at £12 so we're saving £40 a month!

I gave up Sky a few years ago as they kept putting the price up and it simply wasn't worth it anymore imo. Only thing I miss is the music channels.

I have both Netflix and Amazon Prime but I purchase quite a bit from Amazon so pay the yearly fee and the TV is free really. I have an Apple TV box as I have films etc I have bought through iTunes and that's how I access Nettflix and Prime and have also added iPlayer etc. I don't watch any terrestrial TV as I have no signal.

We don’t have a TV package, we just have a selection of apps on our TV - iPlayer etc, Netflix, amazon (fire stick), hayu, blippi, some ice hockey one I think. We also have the ‘tv player’ app which is just regular tv but you just access it via an app. That one is free I think. But you obviously need to work out if the apps you’d use would be more or less expensive than a package eg Sky, NowTV. We were annoyed having hundreds of channels in our TV package that we were paying for and never used!
