Can anyone recommend a decent face cream for dry skin?

I don't care about anti-wrinkle stuff. I just have dry skin and I don't mind paying a bit extra.

I currently use Simple but it's not that great.
I've tried Dream Cream but I can't handle the smell.

Ok I'm feeling the la Roche, I'm going with the Vaseline until I get paid and going with the former.

Thanks so much.

That CeraVe stuff is in a big bottle and cheap for the size - roughly around 450ml for €14 and 250ml for €9 whatever that works out as in Sterling.

I’m using super facialist rose hydrate day cream and there night cream every other night I also but on pixi rose oil, I use pixi rose face wash. I had very dry sensitive skin bit it’s been lovely and glowing since I have been using these products. Super facialist from Sainsbury’s pixi from boots or M&S .

The body shop hemp face cream

I use this for day time If I have time in the morning and then the seaweed overnight gel in the evening
Sensitive skin on my face and these don't react at all and don't cause me to break out either

If you are on a tight budget Aldi soy restorative serum and soy day and night cream are also not bad!! And very cheap!!

Just a quick update, I got the La Roche Posay I've only used it for 2 days but I was driving early today and absentmindedly touched my forehead and for the first time in my life it shocked me because of felt so soft and smooth.
I've tried countless creams and I've never had that effect.

So thank you for the suggestion, I'm well and truly sold.

Clarins all the way for me. You can get a day cream and a night cream and yes they are expensive, but they last for ages!

That’ll teach me to read the thread. Sorry!!

I've just started using L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil oil cream, it doesn't irritate my skin and so far so good.

Just a quick update, I got the La Roche Posay

Which one did you get?

BoobiesToTheRescue · 12/04/2019 21:16

Effaclar, it seemed like the most basic one. And it was reduced from 19.00 to 11.00
