Middle is the best of them.

AnyFucker · 06/04/2019 14:18

3rd

3rd

BoeandBall · 06/04/2019 14:19

The third one is absolutely gorgeous and has the best lighting

MyDcAreMarvel · 06/04/2019 14:21

Middle bit I would not be happy with the photographer.

MyDcAreMarvel · 06/04/2019 14:21

*but

Stinkytoe · 06/04/2019 14:22

I don’t think the lighting is great on any of them but he probably looks best in the middle one.

LittleMissHappy19 · 06/04/2019 14:23

@Dm1209 couldn't agree more with your comment!!
People putting up photos of their babies and children on social media, nevermind on a completely open forum is shocking!!

TheRhythmlessMan · 06/04/2019 14:24

I'm with @DM1209 on this. Your baby has no say that these pictures are on mumsnet for people to judge. Are you confident that their future self will be cool with this?

CallMeRachel · 06/04/2019 14:24

Eek the third one makes baby look like he's wearing a jumper. Two tone body v head?

The second one looks all slimey and slumped.

Your baby is lovely but I don't think any of these look professional enough.

miaCara · 06/04/2019 14:27

Rachel I liked 3rd before you pointed out the Jumperbody. Now im not sure about any of them for enlarging.

BlueMerchant · 06/04/2019 14:38

I think baby is beautiful.
If I'm honest though I agree I'd be asking photographer for a few more snaps to choose from before I paid a lot of money to get one enlarged. The lighting for one doesn't seem right and I now can't not see that jumperbody.

DM1209 · 06/04/2019 14:39

I'm relieved to see some common ground with others here, thank you.

My then 10 (she's 11 now) year old daughter made a very valid point to me regarding my 'very securely locked down with all the correct settings and only 13 of my friends all from real life' able to view the content. I was uploading some baby pictures of my youngest and my older daughter was sat next to me. She asked me if I had baby pictures of her on my account, I said yes and showed her. These were from newborn onwards with baths etc included that ONLY my 13 friends, that she knew and had spent time with all of them, could view.

She went quiet for a moment and then she said 'Mummy I'm not comfortable with having my pictures on the internet. If I decide to put them up myself then that's different, once they're out there then they're out there'. She spoke about her own bodily autonomy (we are a Law household) and consent, these were all things I'd taught her and here she was implementing them.

I deleted everything regarding images of my children on that platform and have never looked back. I also work closely with the NSPCC and I would urge all parents to exercise caution when displaying their children online.

Devonishome1 · 06/04/2019 15:09

Lovely baby but the photos are not great quality.

Mummyofapudding · 06/04/2019 15:25

For those of you criticising me for putting up photos of my baby on a forum - get a life!
He's a tiny baby, there's millions of photos on the web of babies. I've not put his address or name or willy on the pictures so good god chill out!

Baby is beautiful and I'd go middle.

Smoggle · 06/04/2019 15:35

I like the middle/bath one best.

Smoggle · 06/04/2019 15:37

My son's school merrily plastered a photo of him on their completely public Twitter this week, so I can't get too worried about an anonymous baby photo.

JustHereForThePooStories · 06/04/2019 15:38

I've not put his address or name or willy on the pictures

I misread that as “I’ve not put his address or name of his willy on the pictures”
