I love One Day at a Time and I haven't watched the newest series yet but actually it's quite heavy sometimes, not gritty but not always light-hearted, can be quite emotional sometimes.

The Detectorists on Netflix so gorgeous, like a cuddle, but not sickly.
I wish I could go back and watch them all again- fresh.
