Sun cream for babies

I know the weather isn’t great, but I’m optimistic! Last summer baby was a tiny newborn so I just kept her in the shade or inside, but this summer she will be out and about, and at nursery.

What is the best sun cream for little skin? I’ve been looking at Ultra Sun and Child’s Farm so far. She’s got sensitive skin (we use child’s farm bath products after a Johnson’s disaster!) and is very fair. Is the ultra sun really a once a day cream?

I prefer to keep the DC covered in loose cotton clothes with long sleeves and a v good hat where possible but when necessary, I swear by Aldi 50+ for children. DD and I both have very sensitive skin and burn easily. It is excellent and cheap.

I use Altruist from Amazon.co.uk and I live in the Caribbean so I special order it in.
I put it on the kids before school and had it been available when they were tiny I wouldn't have hesitated to use it then.

Check the reviews, it comes highly recommended. Created by Dr Andrew Birnie, a UK skin cancer specialist. 5 Star Ultra UVA protection. Altruist is designed for sensitive skin: hypoallergenic and fragrance free. Suitable for daily use on Face, Body and on children.

For daily use you can't go wrong. It's absorbed brilliantly and I use it under my make up.

We use green people. It's a barrier rather than chemical sun cream, so it is quite thick. Goes on a bit white at first (but at least you can see where it's applied).
This has reminded me that I should buy a couple of new tubes for this year.
