Best all inclusive resorts - can you recommend?

I'm thinking of trying all inclusive for the first week of the summer. Kids are 12 and 8. We are pretty foodie so need somewhere where the food is high quality. Really don't mind where we go. Can any of you recommend somewhere to help narrow down my search? Thanks!

Very much depends on where you're thinking of going OP.

If high quality food is important to you, I'd maybe suggest not going all inclusive to a large hotel/resort in Europe.
I don't mean that snobbishly by the way, I've been on loads of these types of holidays. I have, however, found that often the food is lukewarm, repetitive and chips-with-everything.

We've had beautiful food at smaller, more boutique type hotels in long haul destinations but obviously, these have been pricier holidays.

Ignore the comment about Europe and chips. There are plenty of v good all inclusive all over Europe that cater for those that really don't expect chips with everything.

Are there any you could recommend in Italy villagesecret? Or Spain or Majorca?

Borgo Egnazia
Forte Village Sardinia
Chia Laguna
Verdura Resort

All Italian, my husband speaks Italian so tend to go there. They don't tend to do all inclusive though.

I've only ever been on drink yourself silly teen holidays to Spain so couldn't comment.

Royal son bou in Menorca, fantastic holiday food was amazing.

Forte Village in Sardinia. Not strictly all inclusive but breakfast and evening meal is but you can pay extra for different restaurants.

Of course there are but they're very very expensive. The OP doesn't mention a budget, but unless she's happy to spend well over £5k on her week's holiday, it's probably something to bear in mind.

If food is important and cost is a consideration, there are other ways to do it such as stay in an aparthotel on a B&B basis and eat out a lot, supplemented by a trip to the supermarket or local shop for drinks, snacks and ice creams.

TheBlessedCheesemaker · 06/04/2019 04:45

Forte village Sardinia. Foodie (and sport) heaven. Really good deals to be had via legend holidays which include sport stuff for the kids (rugby and netball training) and are very sociable.

Hollowvictory · 06/04/2019 07:56

Some of these would be in the region of £7-8k plus for a week in school holidays. That's why I find long haul better value for all inclusive

Someaddedsugar · 06/04/2019 08:04

Sunset Princess in Mexico, H10 Rubicon Palace Inn Lanzarote or Tui Family Life in Cyprus (Aeneas Resort not Flamingos Beach)

Lordamighty · 06/04/2019 08:09

TUI sensatori in Fethiye, Turkey.
