Stomach pain that is always there!

It's mild enough that I often forget it's there.

However, it's starting to get on my nerves now. It seems to be in my upper to lower tummy.

It is better, it seems, if I've just eaten. But worse first thing in the morning, when I have an empty tummy.

No other symptoms present, that I can think of, apart from constant blood when I go to the loo, but I know that's caused by anal fissures that I can't get rid of (despite going under the knife).

I'm off to my GP on Monday. Any ideas? Sad

Gallbladder stones?

bsc · 31/03/2019 17:34

Do you have children? Have you considered it might be threadworms? They give me terrible stomach ache. Sad

HelenOn · 31/03/2019 17:35

bsc I have a 16 month old. Could I have picked something like that from him? And sorry to be crude, but don't they cause an itchy bottom? Blush something I don't have.

Cholecystitis (ko-luh-sis-TIE-tis) is inflammation of the gallbladder. Your gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ on the right side of your abdomen, beneath your liver. The gallbladder holds a digestive fluid that's released into your small intestine (bile).

Following as i permanently have stomach ache.

You could have gastritis, general stomach irritation or it could be the start of an ulcer?

Def one for your GP. I had similar and it was the irritation from a medication, I take Omeprazole daily now and it's completely gone.

This sounds really familiar. Look up the symptoms for a stomach ulcer, gastritis, h pylori. They’re normally worse in the morning when your stomach is empty. Your gp should definitely, definitely test you for h pylori.

Thanks all Smile

I don't take any medications so it won't be that. However, I recently took quite a lot of mild painkillers (not all at once, I just had to use them frequently), due to what I think was almost unbearable cluster headaches at the time. I'm wondering if that could've hurt my stomach lining?
