Have a chilled one tonight. Takeaway and a few gins.

Saturday- food shopping, Easter bonnet making and then out for dinner with a friend in the evening.

Sunday- will pop and see my mum. Then we will go for a walk in our local country park and then home for a roast cooked by dh.

What you all going to be doing?

Just about to have ASDA curry & watch Corrie on the ITV Hub.
Sat - taking DD to her first session at an all girls football club then working. Maybe Chinese for tea
Sun - DD cooking her first ever roast for Mother’s Day (beef). Popping to see my Mum at some point & we may go out in the afternoon as it’s a good forecast again

Synagogue tomorrow morning, where I will see best friend and MIL, and no doubt get drawn into highly complex discussions about plans for upcoming Passover!

Sunday, not sure yet. DM might pop around for a cuppa since it's mother's day.

Surviving. DH has gone away for the weekend, so am looking after DDs on my own. They were already complaining before bed that they wish he hadn't gone and he had only just left.
Tomorrow we have to go to DD1's swimming lesson. We will have to walk there. DD1 said she isn't going, because there is no point if her legs will be too tired from walking (it's not that far). DD2 usually plays games on DH's phone if she has to go too when I am at work. I don't have any good kids' games on my phone. So, I have to fight that battle first thing and then entertain them for the rest of the day. I have to wash their hair while they scream like I am murdering them.
Sunday, the battle repeats when I have to make them walk to church because DH won't be here to drive there. They won't want to and will be tired from losing a hour's sleep. DH will be back at lunch time, and we are going to his parents.
I am absolutely exhausted, and am annoyed at the thought of losing a hour's sleep. I need all the hours of sleep I can get.

Taking DS to Legoland on Sunday/Monday. He's sooooo excited!!!

BellMcEnd · 29/03/2019 21:56

Working 7.30am - 8.30pm tomorrow but don’t mind as the DCs have been savage for the last few days. Work by all accounts is manic but I Really Don’t Care.

Sunday it’ll be Church, football match then out with my mum and my lovely mil for afternoon tea then DH, the DC and I are off out for a massive curry with wine Smile

Shopping tomorrow and on Sunday I'm off to see a woman about a horse I might be buying.

hoping we can avoid a+e with dd1(asthma), had a session on nebuliser at drs this morning, been on steroids for 2 days but seems worse.this evening so I've got a feeling it's heading that way. It's her 17th birthday today as well!

pansydansy · 29/03/2019 22:53

@ithinkmycatistryingtokillme oh poor thing, hope everything goes ok and she enjoys her birthday tomorrow.

Unfortunately we ended up in ooh and have only just got back from the ward as she ended up being admitted. Hopefully coming out tomorrow if she responds to the nebuliser, her birthday was yesterday(Fridsy 29th) so we're planning to have birthday mark 2 later this week when she's feeling better

Today, I gardened until about 11am, then DD and I went to Bunnings to get some lawn fertiliser. Home and pottered out the back, played a game of Scrabble. It was 33 deg C, so a tad warm for this time of the year (when will it cool down!) DD cooked dinner, then I did my nightly walk with the neighbour.
Tomorrow, no plans, it's going to be another hot day!

Ronsters · 30/03/2019 12:08

Doing the garden again, another nice day here.

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 30/03/2019 12:09

Today, had a nice lie in and DH took DC as I was up with them at 4 and they woke again at 7 so I was shattered. We're now at a park and they've pulled the usual trick of nap time in the car so we've only got as far as the carpark and I'm MN until wake up. I spend quite a few times at weekends sat in the car Grin

Crunchymum · 30/03/2019 13:14

It's just me and the baby until tomorrow evening. My DP and older two are at a family wedding (we had to miss it as the baby has had a horrible tummy bug). Thankfully we seem to have passed the worst now but I'm taking this weekend to deep clean the house, batch cook (have already done curry, chilli, bolognese and Chinese pork), get on top of the washing and generally get a bit organised.

I'm also drinking lots of tea, catching up on some TV and having lots of baby cuddles.

I'm going to order something on for dinner. Maybe Thai? And have a few glasses of wine.

Tomorrow will be a more restful day. Am going to make the most of the peace before it's a full house again.

NorthEndGal · 30/03/2019 13:16

Babysitting in half an hour, then shopping, then nap, then out for the night with the mister.
Tomorrow morning working on my website, then having guest for supper

Holymolymackerel · 30/03/2019 13:55

DH working 7.30 am to 6pm today and 11am to 9.30 pm tomoz so pretty rubbish. Currently sat at soft play with dd who is at classmate's party. Ds is with mil who is as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Getting over a cold but so looking forward to next weekend!

ohtheholidays · 30/03/2019 14:08

Last night our youngest DD11 had her school disco.

Whilst she was at that me and my DH had a chinese and watched some tv.

Today I've planned to swap 2 of our wardrobes over, hang a line of washing out(that's been done)go to the cemetery to visit my parents and lay flowers for my Mum for Mothers day, take my youngest DD to town to use her book token and spend her pocket money and I want to get some gardening done.

I'm doing well so far,I've just got dressed and had lunch Blush but I am heading out soon to get everything done.

Tomorrow our DD11 has her dance show because the woman that is supposed to arrange everything has forgotten 2 years running that it's Mothers Day that she's holding the show on Hmm

So I'll get a little lay in and breakfast in bed,I'll open my gifts and cards,we'll get our DD ready and my DH will take her for her last rehearsal, whilst he's doing that I'm going to have a long soak in the bath.

I have no idea what else were doing apart from my DD's show tomorrow.

gotmychocolateimgood · 30/03/2019 14:17

Watched DD at gymnastics class this morning as it was badges week. Had lunch in the garden and DH is taking kids to a wildlife park this afternoon while I rest (unwell at the moment). Posh ready meal and pudding for dinner tonight. Tomorrow DS has rugby training but I'm not sure about the rest of the day.
