Don't you think Theresa May looks really ill with her puffy face, I almost feel sorry for her (almost).

Well I guess I said it all in the title. Compare how she looks now with just a couple of years ago. I voted remain, would love to see Article 50 revoked and think this whole Brexit thing has been a shit show from start to... well not even finished yet. But I do wonder at the toll it must take on the health of those right at the top. I wonder how much sleep she gets and whether she has much appetite or whether she comfort eats.

Maybe the puffy face is down to drugs of some sort, keeping her going.

Of course if she'd admitted a year ago she was out of her depth and didn't have a clue how to resolve things, she could have been sitting on a beach with a cocktail alongside David Cameron, laughing at all of us. But still she ploughs on (for now).

Why do I worry about the health of people I don't really even like?!

50% children born into rented accommodation

That's not a pop at renters. I rented for a very long time and sometimes lived in countries where renting is the norm. I merely use it to illustrate the unavailability of home ownership for the under 35s.

On a personal level, I'm sympathetic towards her health issues managing Type 1 diabetes, which is a challenging condition.

Professionally, I don't feel any sympathy at all. No one is holding a gun to her head and they never were. She chose to be a politician and she chose to stand for Prime Minister. She cannot have been oblivious to the fact that being PM during Brexit was only ever going to be the biggest poisoned chalice of all time but she still chose to go ahead. She has not managed the process well and we are now at a political impasse, largely due to her inflexibility as far as I can tell.

I feel considerably more sorry for all the people that her vile politics have forced into poor health through poverty, lack of opportunities, homelessness and inadequate healthcare tbh.

She chose where she is. They didn't.
