Anyone read this? I'm in bits 😢

How that woman is still standing after whats she's been through is a miracle. Feel absolutely heartbroken for her.

That book really got to me too. I honestly don’t know how that poor woman has coped all these years. It makes my blood boil to hear those boys’ names when people talk about what they are entitled to.

I have nothing but the utmost admiration for her.

"But do you know what my biggest regret is? That I didn’t turn right instead of left – if I had taken the right turn and gone around the corner, I would have seen James being led away, just four short minutes after he had left my side, trustingly holding hands with the boys who were about to murder him."

Two years prior to James murder her first child, a daughter Kirsty had died during labour.

Denise has been through hell but keeps on going, a real testament of strength of character.

She has always been very articulate -

I imagine she relays those moments over and over everyday. What torment to live with 😢

Her love for James pours out too in the book and he sounds gorgeous and cheeky (very much like my two year old) and it's nice to read that. For 25 years all we've seen is those images of him and it's nice to put a personality to the face

I read this it's heartbreaking Sad Also read Ralph Bulger's book, it's equally as sad.

You can tell how much James was loved by his whole family from reading them. I don't know how his parents survived, nothing but respect for them both.

chocolatelog · 27/03/2019 09:15

@TiredTodayZzzz I didn't realise Ralph had done a book. I'll have to get that one too.

I listened to it on Audiobook. Its absolutely harrowing. I couldn't believe it when she said malicious rumours went around that she had been shoplifting the day James went missing. Some people are cunts. "Right, so this woman's son was kidnapped, tortured, murdered and dumped like rubbish yes?! How can we make things worse? Try and ruin her reputation!"
