Minimal scuff school shoes?

DS started school in Sept and we're bordering on buying our 4th pair of shoes already.

Granted the first 2 were Aldi school shoe specials but scuffed and took the "leather" off the toe area within weeks. Bought some boots from Asda for him for the winter period and they're scuffed to hell and now the soles have that bloody hole in the heel from him being heavy footed.

So where can i get relatively indestructible shoes from?

I'm generally not a fan of Clarks shoes, but they do have a few styles where the rubber comes quite high up the toe.

My daughter scuffs shoes in the first 5 minutes of wearing them, but I'm rather pleased to see that these are looking quite respectable since buying them after Feb hols.

They have boys versions if you search for the style 'rock move'.

We bought ToeZone Dinosaur Shoes from Sainsburys and DS has worn them to nursery since then (only half days), but they still look like new. They have big rubber bits on the front, so not the most sleek looking shoes.

I was going to suggest Asda as my DC shoes always last ages from thereConfused
Possibly kickers shoes?

Always buy Clark’s shoes and DS started school in September. We bought a nice leather pair, but they scuffed and the leather stared to peel by November! I exchanged them for another pair with a rubber toe and so far so good. They’ll last until the end of this school year, albeit they won’t look great.

I’d always recommend Clark’s shoes just for the fit and quality in general (I was disappointed by the school shoes without rubber and to be honest they’re ugly!). I’ve heard about Tesco or Sainsbury’s (can’t remember which, sorry) are good quality.

I buy the clarks shoes with high rubber front, it's the only way to keep shoes looking smart and they do last really well.

You can probably get the same thing with other brands-if you have a Charles Clinkard near you then you could ask for any brand that has the high rubber front.

Startright. We had a similar issue but his current pair and last pair, both Startright, the grips wore off the soles before the leather was scuffed through. They have a rubber bumper across the toe to stop scuffing.

They are more expensive but they have a sale page where you can get cheaper shoes, usually last year's range.

Another Clark’s shopper - only get those with the high rubber front. Just give a rub over with a shoe shine sponge weekly.
