I'm joining on Friday and am ridiculously excited.
I'm planning on stocking up on things like juice cartons for lunchboxes, cat food etc

What else should I look out for. Also price wise, how different is it to a supermarket?

You may wish to wait until the week after to join, as membership runs until the end of the month you join in, so if you join on 30 March, your membership runs until the end of March 2020, but if you join on 1 April, your membership runs until the end of April 2020.

We don't find the catfood that cheap, but it is good for Lavazza coffee, toilet rolls, deicer, batteries, and slice meat, but you do need to be price aware. A lot of things are more expensive than supermarket special offers for example.

clothes cleaning liquid is cheaper - the huge bottles of fairy.
Their own brand chocolate spread is cheaper, herbs, bottles of juice, bread, some bulk crisps and snacks, soup.
Fruit is no cheaper but is much better (same with meat).

I often check on my supermarket app before I buy stuff for the first time. Alot of things are similar prices to supermarkets but much better quality.

beurre d'isgny £3.79 for 500g

sanfrancisco bay coffee beans....1kg bags £7.59, it's goooood coffee
coastal cheddar...it's a bit dear but bloody delicious
black pudding....a giant sausage for under £3, slice, box and freeze
The giant boxes of 24 cookies or choc chip shortbread...they freeze beautifully which i did not realise until recently so it means I can ration them out
I am working up to trying the meat as we have a lovely butcher locally, but I had the most delicious braising steak from costco and the boneless chicken thighs can be good however the second lot were not as nicely boned/butchered as the first lot. The chicken breast looks lovely though as does the mince so going to try some of that next.

Our Christmas Ham came from there, it was a bit pricier than tesco but was a much bigger joint than you'd find in the average supermarket.

Booze offers can be good, so do your homework before you go
Their Kirkland prosecco is very drinkable, dh usually finds a decent whisky bargain

Store cupboard stuff also...check your supermarket prices...I had a 5kgbag of caster sugar for £3.79 vs £2.69 for 2kg in tesco so good as I do lots of baking.

I love costco! Especially the big slice of pizza when we are done.

I have to go this Friday really, as I wanted to stock up due to a horrendous few weeks coming up on my Rota. So that's a pity.

I'm really looking forward to it.

I've heard good things about brownie and pancake mix too.

I buy the bottled spring water , over 30 500ml bottles for about £4

Tigi bed head shampoo and conditioner is over half the price it would be in salons. I always stock up!
