Breakfast ideas for 1.5 year old

Afternoon all, wondering what your 1 -2 year olds have for breakfast? My lo usually has handful of blueberries and fruit toast but she doesn't want the toast anymore, she's not too keen on cereal either, she's dairy intolerant which obviously is relevant!! Xx

Favourites in our house include porridge made with milk and fruit purée (you could use dairy free milk), scrambled eggs, avocado toast and pancakes

Brioche or croissant with fruit

DD (1.5 years) has porridge made with water and fruit puree every day. I don't want to offer options at breakfast!

We have scrambled eggs and sometimes fruit salad!!

Ds isn’t a breakfast person - he usually has a bowl of fruit purée mixed with Greek yoghurt, and a few handfuls of dry Cheerios.

Eggs - scrambled or boiled. Some veg sticks or fruit alongside.

French toast. Protein + complex carbs.

Buttermilk pancakes. I reckon you could substitute soya yoghurt mixed with soya milk for the buttermilk. Adding mashed banana or stewed apple to the batter sweetens it and is a portion of fruit.

Will she eat warmed Weetabix or does that count as cereal?

DS loved pancakes or toast with jam, fruit salad, sausage with beans, scrambled or mashed egg in a cup

My boys prefer a cooked breakfast. I fry up a small bit of spinach, and scramble some egg in the same pan afterwards, sweet potato in the microwave and a bit of cooked ham or chicken.

Various cereals, often with blueberries added (don't know if she might be more keen that way rather than on the side)? Mine likes it. Reduced sugar oat Cheerios are good as you can also use them as a snack (dry) in the house or in little pots out and about. Porridge is good. With oat milk or water or whatever milk alternative she likes.

I also make these all the time and I use them on busy mornings when we don't have time to sit down for breakfast (i.e. need to be in nursery by 8am before I go to work). I also use them as afternoon snacks.

You could also maybe make some sugar-free banana bread and just make loads, freeze most and take out enough for a couple of days at a time? Or bananas mashed onto normal toast?
