I have a few.
Daenerys poker face when negotiating with the slave trader. His face when he realised that she understood everything he said.

Robin the breastfed near adolescent. I like that he wanted to see Tyrion fly out of the moon door. I loved that when Littlefinger handed him as gift he accepted exuberantly before chucking it out the moon door.

Tyrion introducing himself to the dragons and them warming to him.

Cersei's revenge against everyone who wronged her. The Sept of baelor blowing up and her fulfilling her promise to kill Septor Unella.

When we see what happened to Hodor. Sad

Also "Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me". Grin

As someone with a life long hatred of cinematic sword fights and battle scenes, I found Battle of the Bastards breathtakingly good.

shartsi · 22/03/2019 14:44

I like watching Jamie Lannister. He has grown on me throughout the series.

I also like Tormund making creepy eyes at Brienne.

pumpastrotter · 22/03/2019 14:57

Anything to do with Olenna Tyrell, what a hero. Battle of the bastards was one of the most heart stopping episodes of screen I've ever seen, I was literally kneeling on the sofa holding my breath, it was like watching the Rugby; Hardhome was a fantastic episode too.

Worst ever scene; Ed. Sheeran. agreed! Nearly ruined the whole series for me.

I wouldn't say this was a 'best' moment, more disgusting, but when Oberon got his head crushed Shock That made me feel sick for days afterwards. And when a horse got sliced in half.

BayandBlonde · 22/03/2019 17:09

Sorry I don't have any best moments as I've never watched one episode Confused

I saved season 1 on Netflix last night so I'm going to start it this evening. Hope it lives up to its reputation Smile

BayandBlonde · 22/03/2019 17:10

@MissionItsPossible as a horse owner i might close my eyes for that bit. Which episode is it?

CatToddlerUprising · 22/03/2019 17:13

Lady Lyanna Mormont

CatToddlerUprising · 22/03/2019 17:16

The interactions between Brienne and Tormund. And the Hound with Arya

MargotLovedTom1 · 22/03/2019 17:17

When the treacherous little shit Ollie stabs Jon Snow.

Battle of the Bastards is beyond amazing. I love any battles scenes when you can hear Jon Snow going "Huuueergh! Haaaah! Yaaargh!" whilst wielding his weapon Grin.

Also when poor Tyrion finds out just how much of a bastard his father is. And Ramsay's end. And Sansa fucking over Littlefinger. And yes, the Red Wedding. Poor Robb Stark Sad.

MargotLovedTom1 · 22/03/2019 17:19

And Hodor. I blurted out "Ohhhhhhh! Hold the door...Hodor," and felt so sad for him.

gingajewel · 22/03/2019 17:23

The battle of the bastards, my favourite piece of tv ever.
When the hound returns, he is my favourite character and the return was just perfect for him.
The red wedding

BanginHeadache · 22/03/2019 17:25

Oh my god so many best moments. I liked Brienne v the Hound scene! I like them both as characters and glad they are still in it now.
Also agree with PP about Ed Sheeran being the worst scene - so cringe. And now just irrationally pissed myself off by thinking about it again grrr.

gingajewel · 22/03/2019 17:26

Oh and also when ned stark dies, I watched the whole first series not quite loving it, this was the moment I realised just how different got was and became obsessed!

TheFirstOHN · 22/03/2019 17:27

Having just rewatched Season 7, I think my favourite episode is Eastwatch. All the mini-reunions. The complicated dynamics and undercurrents in the group about to go beyond the wall.

And Davos being reunited with Gendry.
"I wasn't sure if I'd find you. Thought you might still be rowing."

But I did also enjoy Littlefinger's comeuppance in the following episode.

SweetAsSpice · 22/03/2019 17:30

When The Hound kicks over the box containing the wight.

Arya sparring with Brienne.

When Daenerys Targaryen burns the Master of The Unsullied. So badass.

The Hound.
Jaqen H'ghar.

MissionItsPossible · 22/03/2019 17:33

@BayandBlonde I’m sorry I can’t remember but I THINK it’s near the start. Just to warn you as well later on in the series where there’s huge battles there’s quite a few shots of horses being stabbed and their legs sliced.

BayandBlonde · 22/03/2019 17:48

@MissionItsPossible thank you for the warning. I'm going to have a binge night and weekend Smile

Meralia · 22/03/2019 17:50

The red wedding! You just knew something was going to happen, and I was a slow burner with a huge finale!

MyBreadIsEggy · 22/03/2019 17:53
  • When the penny dropped for Sam about Jon’s true parentage at the end of last season was a subtle epic moment for me!
  • Arya finally killing Little Finger, the slimy cunt.
  • I remember seeing the sex scene in the tent between a newly married Rob Stark and Talisa back in season 2 and thinking “wow. That’s hot” - unlike many GoT sex scenes that are borderline pornographic and make me cringe a bit.
70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/03/2019 17:59

And when a horse got sliced in half

It's a jousting tournament and it's Mountain

It's not good to be a horse in GoT .
There's the heart than Daenrys has to eat to make her unborn son strong
And the horse galloping towards someone which gets hit between the eyes by a thrown dagger .

But when Ayra meets Ed Sheeran in the forest she's riding the most beautiful iron grey dappled (who I hope doesn't get killed off )

My favourite bit is the theme tune , I play Air Cello Grin DH fast forwards this bit , the turd .

shirleyschmidt · 22/03/2019 18:09

Omg there's loads. Off the top of my head:

Season 1 Viserys death

Season 2 where the public turns on Joffrey and there's a big scrap where Tyrion slaps Joffrey and the Hound saves Sansa.

Season 3 where Tyrion asks Tywin for Casterly Rock. The speech from Tywin is so cruel but so brilliantly delivered. Poor Tyrion!

Season 4 the Hound and Arya in the tavern "I'm gonna have to eat every fucking chicken in this room"😂

Season 4 Tyrion trial speech was awesome

Season 4 Hound fight against Brienne. Most tense scene ever, I was extremely conflicted!

Season 6 Battle of the Bastards whole episode was amazing

Season 7 Death of Littlefinger
Season 7 Jaime finally walking out on Cersei

Can you tell I'm excited for the next one!!! 😬😬

MyBreadIsEggy · 22/03/2019 18:11

70isa
My DH was working away when the first episode of season 7 aired, so I sent him a SnapChat of me going full on “DA DA DDDADAAAA!!” next to the tv with one of those hideous face-changer filters on it Grin

MyBreadIsEggy · 22/03/2019 18:14

Oh, and I forgot one of my favourite lines ever!!
Season 4, when the wildlings attack Castle Black. Jon Leaves Pip in charge of the archers atop the wall, and he tells them that they are most likely to die anyway, so may as well go out with a bang, to take their arrows and “LIGHT THE FUCKERS UUUUUPPPP!” Grin
Epic.

RonSwansonsMustacheComb · 22/03/2019 18:21

Hands down Arya laughing when she finds out her aunt is dead and the Houmd has brought her all that way for nothing.

TinselAngel · 22/03/2019 18:55

Favourite line is during the battle for the wall when Jon says to Janos Slynt something like "There's giants riding mammoths down there! How much use do you think your cold rolled steel will be against them?"
