London restaurant for special occasion

Adults only, looking for really good food, not necessarily fine dining but an experience that feels like a treat. Pricey is ok so long as its decent value and actually worth it. Can travel anywhere in London

The cinnamon club wasn't great when I went a few months ago. Lovely decor but my chicken was dry and the sauce was bland. Starter was lovely though. Several reviews I read said similar about the food.

Restaurant story is my favourite at the moment.
