Listening to George Ezra, his singing voice is so damn sexy. He, alas, is perfectly fine and a bit young. If I saw him in concert I'd close my eyes to listen.

The lead singer of the Lunineers, well I don't even know who he is...

Jack Savoretti is actually beautiful tbf but his voice makes my tummy feel funny

So whose voice do you find attractive above and beyond anything else about them?

Tchéky Karyo - I could listen to him talk all day. And Dominic West, delicious voice.

idoliketobebesidethesea · 18/03/2019 23:03

Ken Stott.
Love reruns of Rebus just to listen to his voice.

SleepingStandingUp · 18/03/2019 23:41

Someone said David Attenborough-- I can't watch him late at night as his voice is too soothing but def not in a sexy way...

origamiunicorn · 19/03/2019 00:17

Sam Elliott
Denzel Washington
Benedict Cumberbatch
Patrick Stewart
John Hamm
Simon Neil - Biffy Clyro

I just love a posh English and certain American accents too. A strong New York/New Jersey accent makes me pretty weak at the knees.

The bloke out of Elbow has a voice that could snap knicker elastic from 30 metres.

Haha brilliant! ...and yes actually I agree.

SleepingStandingUp · 19/03/2019 00:40

It's DEFINATELY deep voices. Anyone watch the Voice? When the Coventry guy went deep I literally couldn't concentrate

When I can't sleep - there's a bloke on youtube who makes these mini documentaries about old movie stars and historical events / personalities.

He's from Mississippi and has a southern drawl. I just love it. It's so soothing and just a few minutes of listening to his mini docs (which are actually quite good), I'm in the land of Nod. I'm not a fan of all American accents, but there's just something about this one.

When I told an American friend his response was:
"He sounds like a mush mouth full of chaw, corn pone and sow bellies!" (whatever that means!)

Anton lesser or Nigel davenport. They can read my audiobook anyway Grin

3ChangingForNow · 19/03/2019 01:01

Richard Burton and Laurence Fox

Featherstep · 19/03/2019 01:12

Kiefer Sutherland
Ralph Fiennes
Benedict Cumberbatch

(I was scanning my brain for Shakespearean actors I know then giggled when I landed on Derek Jacobi - NOT crushing on Iggle Piggle, thanks)

MintyCedric · 19/03/2019 01:29

Richard Armitage

Hedgehogblues · 19/03/2019 01:34

The voice actor for Ulfric Stormcloak. He makes me weak. I can't resist joining the Stormcloaks because of it

WarpedGalaxy · 19/03/2019 01:44

Richard Burton - damn I’d have had my knickers off before he’d finished saying ‘hello’ if I’d ever met him.

James Hetfield (Metallica) - see above

Mark Knofler (Dire Straits) I defy anyone to listen to Romeo & Juliet and not dissolve into a puddle of fanny juices on hearing the line ‘you and me babe, how about it?’

A buyer for a customer we have in Texas who calls work occasionally. I swear to god, it’s better than phone sex and all we’re discussing is the relative merits of one grade of steel over another. And when he starts on the ‘custom screws’ he’ll require for his parts, well, who can blame me for getting a bit hot and bothered?

My DH - my insides flipped over the first time he ever spoke to me and even now 16 years on I still melt when he calls me on the phone unexpectedly, he just has a really dirty, deep, growly voice.

adayatthebeach · 19/03/2019 01:47

FrugalFanny can you give us a link to one of the utube videos?you have my curiosity about the accent.
