Am placing my bets on Wednesday.
Anyone want to join me waiting for cute baby pictures while trying to make sense of the Brexit confusion?

I had a dream a couple of weeks ago that I delivered the baby, it was a girl weighing 6lb8oz & was chased all over London by the paparazzi.
It was very odd, as I clearly remembered the dream when I woke up it was very vivid though & I am very definitely not a royalist.

StealthPolarBear · 18/03/2019 16:33

But are you a midwife?

I reckon April 1st, a girl and I think Doria Diana has a nice ring to it.

dontcallmelen · 18/03/2019 16:35

Lol no Stealth nothing even remotely like a midwife.

AnnieOH1 · 18/03/2019 16:38

A friend of mine was due April 17th but gave birth this morning so maybe there's something in the air! :)

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 18/03/2019 16:44

The child was, of course, to be born on March 29th, but Megs has now agreed to keep her legs crossed for the duration of the article 50 extension, possibly entering the record books as the longest royal pregnancy in history.

The child will be named Princess Diana queen of hearts Sussex. Or Artemis.

oh, and Hitler's Birthday was the 20th April, but Hazza probably knows that.

Quartz2208 · 18/03/2019 16:47

She definitely wasn’t at the wedding 10years ago it was my due date today and I conceived middle end of June
I would say it’s another 3-4 weeks away from her due daye

StealthPolarBear · 18/03/2019 16:50

What wedding ten years ago?

MyHeadWasExploding · 18/03/2019 16:53

William and Kate was April 2010 I think - is that what you mean @Quartz2208?

MissionItsPossible · 18/03/2019 16:57

A boy on the 23rd of April

cloudymelonade · 19/03/2019 10:31

@BarbaraofSevillle I hadn't even thought of that! Good job we're choosing a French name!

Kpo58 · 19/03/2019 10:44

I hope if it's a girl that they call her Barbara.

JustHereForASec · 19/03/2019 10:51

I'd like Betsy but it's not gonna happen!

Bunnyhop1502 · 20/03/2019 17:23

@Kpo58 I actually love the name Barbara! Princess Babs Grin

BarbaraofSevillle · 20/03/2019 17:28

Would the baby then be Barbara Windsor? Not that there's anything wrong with that of course. Grin

Although I realise now that I don't actually know what their last name is. Sussex, Windsor, Wales, something else?

ClashCityRocker · 20/03/2019 17:39

I thought the last name would be Sussex but I don't really know how it all works.

SenecaFalls · 20/03/2019 17:46

If, for example, the names chosen are Philip and Doria, a boy would be Philip Mountbatten-Windsor, Earl of Dumbarton (Harry's Scottish title); a girl would be Lady Doria Mountbatten-WIndsor. Once the Queen is no longer with us, they would be elevated to Prince Philip of Sussex and Princess Doria of Sussex, unless they go the route of Prince Edward's children and keep the titles as children of a Duke.

MikeUniformMike · 20/03/2019 17:57

Doriana perhaps?
Other options could be Frank for a boy and Barbara for a girl.
Or they could go celeb and call him or her East or West.

MitziK · 20/03/2019 19:07

Megxit

Well, that's what the baby will be doing.

Seems like the 'it's a fake bump and surrogate' people have disappeared along with the 'she forced him to marry her because she said she was pregnant' shit, at least.

I think if anybody were remotely interested in when I gave birth, I'd actually give a due date of a few weeks later, just so I didn't have the constant 'haven't you had that yet?' bollocks I had with Offspring #2.

Having the very scientific odds of 50:50, I'll guess it's a girl, but whatever happens, she'll have barely managed to sit down without wincing before the press will be going about when number two is going to be on its way - just more so if it isn't a boy.

IIRC, the best indication of sometime in the next couple of weeks being Megxit Day is if her bump drops due to the head engaging. Although I never experienced it myself, as said #2 was so bloody long that she stayed wedged right where she was until she practically grew out of me at just a smidge before 41 weeks.

At least I could come out of hospital looking like fucking shit in trackie bottoms and a T-shirt, but shit that had been able to have a shower, rather than be expected to balance on stilettos in some twatty dress, do hair, nails, makeup and look as though I'd never carried anything heavier than a lettuce leaf and three slices of cucumber. I don't envy anybody that expectation.

lyralalala · 20/03/2019 20:45

I thought the last name would be Sussex but I don't really know how it all works.

They’d be titled as Lord or Lady, but would likely use Sussex as their surname at school in the way Harry was Harry Wales, and George is George Cambridge at school.

Whoops75 · 20/03/2019 20:58

Will the baby be titled?
Definitely something to consider when choosing a name.
Wil & Kate had to pick suitably royal names
Zara and Mike's girls have lovely names,

My prediction is girl
On the 8th April
Called Anna

lyralalala · 20/03/2019 21:03

Will the baby be titled?

They’ll automatically be titled in the same way as Lady Louise Windsor and Vuscount Severn are known. They’ll then be legally entitled to be HRH Prince/ss when Charles becomes King.

The Queen could choose to make them HRH Prince/ss now as she has with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Only the Eldest son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales was automatically entitled to HRH Prince, but the Queen stepped in to ensure if George was a girl she would have been titled.

StealthPolarBear · 20/03/2019 21:21

Ooh Anna would be lovely.

"Harry was Harry Wales, and George is George Cambridge at school."
Do you think if there's two George's in the class they're George f and George c? Or do you think other George's parents would have been approached quietly to send him elsewhere? :o

SenecaFalls · 20/03/2019 21:22

"Harry was Harry Wales, and George is George Cambridge at school."

But Edward's children do not use the surname Wessex.
