I am going to be doing some quilting.

I have pieced my top together, today I need to layer my quilt (the back is going to be red), quilt it with red stitching as per my sketch on top of the picture and I have little rainbow buttons to add at the intersections.

Get DS to finish last 2 pages of his homework, wait for DH to wake up from his shift (he got in at 1am) and then off to my parents for a massive family dinner for my dad’s birthday - he is Italian we have a massive family and he loves getting us all together so even though it’s his birthday he is cooking for 25 people... getting us all together is noisy, chaotic but great fun

It is due to be 20 degrees here today so like a true Brit I will be cranking up the BBQ!

I worked yesterday so didn't see dc at all - 6th day at work - then today woke up ready for lovely family day only to discover 1yo twins have DnV. So DH and DD1 off out whilst I stay at home with two grumpy small people, antibac wipes, and the washing machine. Might try and sneak out with the buggy for a cheeky Costa as we also have no coffee in the house 😭

Not much at all. Waiting for DD to get back from her sleepover, waiting for DS to wake up from his nap (starting to hear grumblings now so I think he is waking up). Going to try out a new recipe for dinner today and shall have some cake I made yesterday with my tea later this afternoon.

Not a lot. DD(5) was up all night with d&v. Absolutely shattered and trying to motivate myself to get off the sofa and get dressed. Not happening

F1 starts today so dp wont want to miss it. Otherwise I expect we'll fit some food in around that, and I've got to go and pick up a Denby crockpot bought on eBay. Brand new for £10! Not very exciting but heyho!

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm off to the Science Museum to see the 'Last Tsar' exhibition. Anyone been? As they are timed tickets I'm wondering if you are shooed along a bit. I like to take my time.

Oh wait, just remembered DD has circus school today after a month's break, lucky I remembered in time!

Bluesheep8 fidget quilts are for people with dementia, Alzheimer's or autism, they are little quilts that sit on your lap and your fingers can fidget with them. They have zips, ribbons, things that can velcro on and off etc. They keeps mind calm as the keep fingers busy. This'll be my first to make, if it is successful I plan on making a bunch more. I can use up lots of scraps and notions

Up at 10 (we were both out last night), breakfast, housework, cooked DH some lunch and sent him off to work, went to the pub, ate a fantastic turkey and gammon roast dinner, watched some football and now home eating hummus and crackers an curled up with my DCat. Perfect Sunday.

Had a lovely but busy day -

Up early to finish off DH's birthday cake
Bathed DC
Went out for lunch with DC, DH and ILs
Took youngest DC to a birthday party
Now home and about to go for a run before ironing and bed

Had a spell at the beach till it got chilly
Then spot of shopping
Cup of tea and chocolate croissant before going to pasarela for a lovely lamb lunch about 8 pm

Anyone know where I am?😂
