Don't bandana bibs look uncomfortable?

Material tucked up under the chin?

That would piss me off. Am I thinking too much into it?

I don’t think they look uncomfortable but I do think they look silly Grin
We didn’t bother using bibs by the time dc3 came along, he wasn’t dribbly and he was quite a tidy eater (unlike now!).

I loved funky giraffe bibs! They quite often did 25% off vouchers too advertised on Instagram or Facebook or wherever and I'd stock up. I've got loads saved ready in case we have another baby. They do make a difference with dribble rash to a teething baby.

I love the funky giraffe bibs too. Bought a pack of 10 for DS1 and DS2 is now wearing them. Some have faded a little but they have been washed a lot (understatement!) and are still very soft and absorbable.

They weren't that popular when my DS (almost 5) was a baby but I had a couple for him which I loved. I think they look cute and they are also very practical imo

My DS lived in dribble bibs until 18 months old as he had reflux, and it was easier and quicker to change a bib instead of a full outfit. I preferred the look of them to normal bibs, plus the normal bibs got in the way a lot more when he was playing.

If babies/toddlers are uncomfortable they soon let you know. If they weren't happy wearing dribble bibs they wouldn't stay on for long.

My first DD was a hideous dribbler and it caused terrible rashes. The funky giraffe bibs were fantastic. I always felt they looked comfortable and extra cosy on a cold day. I was a little obsessed actually and had loads to match every outfit. You can get cheaper packs on amazon of the most popular patterns.

I found a bandana bib and put it on him. But I noticed that the folds mean the wet part is constantly against his chin. As opposed to flat against his chest (and underneath that is a top and a vest).

So even more so, I don't understand these bibs?
He only had it on 10 minutes and his whole chin and underneath was wet where it was tucked up and soaked against him.

Am I missing something??

You can't even see the soaked bit. It's under his chin!

Yes but you can just change it for a dry one (I used to keep 5/6 in my bag for a day out) rather than changing a soaked top.

Also once they started getting too soaked, I used to kind of roll and fold the bottom pointy bit under the chin getting a bit more mileage out of one.

He was wearing this for 5-10 minutes.
That's more than 5-6 bibs a day.
