Dublin with teens

We're looking to get away for a few days in the May half term and prices for flights to Dublin are good. The thing is, when we've been looking at things to do there, we keep seeing distillery tours, Guinness tasting etc which obviously are no good for a 15 year old and a 12 year old!

Any suggestions of family friendly things to do?

Kilmanhan Gaol, really fascinating tour and you get to learn some history Wink

The immigration museum is fab

Great suggestions. Would you recommend Dublin as a place to visit with kids this age?

Yes, there are plenty of museums and galleries.

DD went with a group of other teenagers and enjoyed the Viking splash tour and a place where she learned about chocolate.

Yes, they'd love the Viking splash tour! That looks great fun. Any other ideas?

EPIC is great.

My teens loved the Guinness experience!

Also liked the Book of Kells.

Are you into sport? You can do tours of the Aviva Stadium (rugby, soccer) and Croke Park (gaelic football, hurling). I haven't done either, but just Googled both and they look interesting (and I am not sporty!)

The Guinness Tour is really well done, the actual tasting is only a tiny part. You get a pint at the end too, but they have soft drink alternatives

Also our teenage nephews visited us and were happy spending time wandering around the city centre, looking at different historical sites/buildings.

Our teenage nieces spent long enough at the historical stuff to take a few pics for their Mum and the rest living their best Instagram lives in Starbucks and Abercrombie & Fitch.

There is something for everyone 😂
