Just so fucking angry.

Terrible images, and the fucker filmed it live.

So inhumane.

we pull together in times like this, while it will break our hearts for a long time it wont break our spirit!

dontevenblink · 15/03/2019 04:49

Schools still in lockdown. I'm getting text alerts from my dc's old school and my friends, and as the school is pretty central they are still stuck. Just feel sick. News reporting of it is harrowing.

Elllllle · 15/03/2019 06:42

Just horrifying.

Watching Jacinda Ardern in a live feed atm, and have total admiration for her. What a terrible situation.

DinosApple · 15/03/2019 06:53

This is terrible! Those poor, poor people.

wheresmyhairytoe · 15/03/2019 07:02

WTF is wrong with people 😢

ahtellthee · 15/03/2019 07:02

Just waking up to this now. Awful. I am shocked and sorry for everyone in Christchurch at the moment

BringMeTea · 15/03/2019 07:11

Dreadful. Christchurch has had more than its fair share of troubles.

RockyFlintstone · 15/03/2019 07:11

Woke up to see this earlier, just unspeakable. Why do people do this?

PoppingGlitter · 15/03/2019 07:13

What a tragedy. 40 people unbelievable.

God you could Jacinda Ardern was just holding it together, yet she articulated it so well.

I'm gutted about this, we have lots of Christchurch ties. Thinking of NZ.

SomethingOnce · 15/03/2019 07:42

Sickening.

lavenderbongo · 15/03/2019 07:47

I’m in Wellington. My kids (12 & 14) did the climate march on there own in the city today - thought nothing of letting them wander around the capital today. It’s such a safe country.
Then these arseholes do this! My heart goes out to those families affected.
When we got our citizenship here the mayor said “we want you to bring your culture and traditions with you to our country and add them to our own. New Zealand is a country of many cultures and that’s what makes us great” and that is the country I love. These evil bastards will not take that away from us!

Sanguineclamp · 15/03/2019 07:51

Utterly horrifying. A hideous cowardly act. Those poor people.Sad

SpogTheDog · 15/03/2019 08:17

BBC has the death toll showing as 49 now. One would be tragic and horrific enough, but 49? I don't know what to say other than how sorry I am for those people. Not one of those people did anything to him and he felt he had the right to murder them in the most horrific manner. I cannot understand how anyone could do that but I do know the constant anti-immigrant/anti-Islam spiel that the media and politicians spout and even ordinary people are also to blame. This man's terrorist attack didn't begin with a gun. It began with words.

MinervaVause · 15/03/2019 08:19

I was at work when we found out. It’s devastating. So many of my colleagues with family and friends in Chch. There were a few emotional phone calls going on.

We’re in Auckland, Dh left Britomart just before the controlled explosions. My friend who’s in the CBD tonight said tensions are high.

My heart absolutely breaks for everyone affected.

Kia Kaha Christchurch.

UrsulaPandress · 15/03/2019 08:21

Terrible news.

AlexaShutUp · 15/03/2019 08:23

It's terribly sad. It must have been terrifying for those poor people. My sympathies are with all those affected.

Hospitalexpert · 15/03/2019 08:24

So sorry for all those affected directly and the people of New Zealand there and around the world.

justforthisnewname · 15/03/2019 08:25

Just awful. What utter cowards attacking unarmed adults and children and at a time they were at prayer too. What senseless idiots.

Thoughts are with all the poor people and their families cauught up in this monstrous act.

user1493423934 · 15/03/2019 08:35

@lavenderbongo I'm in Wellington too - though my DC are a bit too young still to be going on the climate change march, but if they were a bit older I would've encouraged them to do so - but after today what is this country turned to? was always so proud to live in a safe country with very little gun violence but now - who knows. It is so scary. My heart goes out to all those involved - and to the emergency services and hospital staff who were stretched with all the victims to deal with, and the teachers who stayed with the kids in the school lockdown.

echt · 15/03/2019 08:38

Those poor people.

LibbyJeffries · 15/03/2019 10:16

Kia kaha Aotearoa

MissionItsPossible · 15/03/2019 10:24

What's pissing me off and getting me angry is reading about this on news sites and then seeing comments underneath from horrible people trying to justify it or gloss over it with things like "well it was only a matter of time". I've had enough news today, i'll stick to here and taking pointless quizzes on Buzzfeed.
