There are 27 figures of speech in this photo. How many can you see? I can see 6.
Feel free to list!

Bald as a coot

SparkiePolastri · 12/03/2019 06:43

Bald as a coot is a simile, not a figure of speech.

What's with the ragged trousers - is there something in that?

Bananasarenottheonlyfruit · 12/03/2019 06:48

You can argue semantics, but it's a bald man with a coot in his head!

Bananasarenottheonlyfruit · 12/03/2019 06:52

And by the way, a simile is a figure of speech....

simile
/ˈsɪmɪli/Submit
Learn to pronounce
noun
noun: simile; plural noun: similes
a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic or vivid (e.g. as brave as a lion ).

I thought the bit by the bare foot was the artists signature!

Plexie · 12/03/2019 07:21

Need to pull your socks up. Although he's only wearing one sock...

Some images have more than one answer, eg

MerryMarigold · 12/03/2019 14:38
