Would you leave these heaters on all night?

No heating for a few days. The house is freezing. Got a lot burner down stairs which is great. Plug in oil radiator in dc1 room, and a plug in fan heater in mine and dc2 room. I'm going to switch the fan heater off, not least because it's noisy but also quite old. Not sure what to do with the oil one though. Dc1 room is warm with it on, but the rooms that have had no heat today are bitterly cold (inc bathroom and living room) I'm keeping the doors closed but thinking it might be best to leave the oil heater on low all night to stop the house getting too chilled. Or maybe switch it on when I wake up in the early hours. Makes me a bit nervous for some reason.

Switch it on when you wake up.

I keep an oil heater on all night in my hall, to keep the chill off. It's fine, and really does make a difference.

We would leave an oil heater on. Not a, fan.

Not sure why tbh.

I wouldn’t leave an electric radiator on at night. Especially not in a child’s room. Extra duvets and pyjamas, are they way to go. Hats if necessary. Bring DC in your bed if possible.

That's my worry if I'm.honest, dc1 is in there with it although in a cot so can't touch it. Dc2 will get into bed with me in the night . They both have really thick fleecy pjs on, socks and quilts and are nice and warm just now. I think I'll switch it off in a minute and on when I get up to the loo.

We leave an oil heater on in the dc's room, it's been fine.

I wouldn't risk it, like others have said extra covers, also what is the reason for you having no heating, if your in rented accommodation your landlord should sort it within a few days especially when you have children
