I'm off up to do the ironing; what are you up to?

I've been to Lidl with dd1 for her school cooking ingredients, and things for my Rainbows & Guides.

Washing's done. House is reasonably tidy.

So, I'm going to finish my coffee then head upstairs to iron uniforms while dd1 has lunch then revises her Spanish for a test this week.

After that we'll get out ingredients to try out a recipe for baked doughnuts & wait im patiently for dd2 to get home for a sleepover at Nanna's so we can bake them together.

What are you all up to?

I’ve been shopping, done homework with dcs, made some soup for lunch, I’m about to make a carrot cake with dd and then bung a chicken and potatoes in the oven.

Weather is rubbish here today too.

FrontRowSeat when we’ve had to get out in rubbish weather, I’ve taken them to a shopping centre, cinema for kids show, bowling, or just a random bus journey.
Dd asked to go to the library this morning. It would be lovely if they were open on a Sunday!

Hmmm, well, we're making the donuts (finally) but dd1 measured 1/2 instead of 1/4 tsp of salt into the mix so they might be erm...interesting, to eat! We'll see later on!

@FrontRowSeat how old are your dc? You could bake something simple if you have ingredients handy?

I'm on sofa on MN (but thinking I might have a little doze in a min) whilst DH is watching the Chelsea game. We should have been there but the weather and SE Trains put paid to that (not too fussed TBH).

I've put some more washing in and we've got easy dinner as we were supposed to be at the football. I cooked a joint of boiled bacon in preparation yesterday so we are having that cold with mash and pickle

I might go and sort out my work/exercise clothes and handbag for the week after my doze...

Been out clothes shopping with my teen😩. Just back in the house, going to put some calming radio prog on, make a cup of tea and peel some veg for tonight....and relax ahhh

Cleaning, washing and ironing all done. Lunches made for tomorrow. It's absolutely freezing so we're all cuddled up under a blanket on the sofa watching Jurassic World:Fallen Kingdom

We are having a practice run at Mothers day here , ds (26) came home this morning with a bunch of tulips and a box of lily O’Brien’s dessert chocolates and is going out later to get Nando’s takeaway for tea . In the interim I’ve watched the first stage of Paris Nice and am now watching rugby .

Baby had turned into velcro baby meaning I haven’t done half the things I wanted to. We did have a lovely nap together though!

Preparing for 8 year old’s choir concert tomorrow, panicking about the week ahead (concert, work, work event on Wednesday, parents evening Thursday, concert with the 8 year old on Friday, then daughters’ joint party on Saturday 🙀) Next jobs are making the party lunch bags and a Dobby costume

I've been up since 6:30 😢 thanks to toddler DS. We watched cartoons on Disney, and he's kept doing laps of the living room with his walker. Weather can't make its mind up so we've stayed in today.
When DS went for a nap DH went for one as well, whilst I relaxed and caught up on some tv. Since then I've put a casserole in the oven, done my ironing for the week and washed the removable bits of the high chair, whilst DH has distracted DS, hoovered the downstairs and done the pots washing.
Oh, and DS is back doing laps of the living room again with his walker 😂.

(By making a Dobby costume I mean cutting arm and head holes in a pillow case 🤣)
