My nephew is six today and I've had a really busy week. Realised yesterday I had forgotten to order him a present 😬😳 they live on the other side of the country.

I won't see him for a few weeks so need something I can ideally send virtually (vouchers etc). Today if possible.

He loves Dragons (film - is this the same as How to Train Your Dragon?), Star Wars, pirates and nature. All ideas gratefully received!

Cinema vouchers?

Purplepjs · 10/03/2019 06:27

Vouchers for a trampoline park/ice skating/bowling/horse riding lesson/climbing wall.

Lego Star Wars kit...would amazon prime be fast enough?

GrandmaSharksDentures · 10/03/2019 06:29

A HEX bugs set would be a hit

My 6 year old boy got Build a Bear vouchers for Christmas, and was over the moon. They have some How to Train your Dragon bears at the moment (mine chose Pokémon)

He would also love vouchers which enabled him to buy Lego (so any toy store, large supermarket or department store like John Lewis).

Does he/family own any games consoles? My dc got a Nintendo switch shared for Christmas, and you can buy games online as downloads (must be able to for other systems too, surely?) - you could transfer money to his parents and they could download straight to the console. My ds would love a Mario game, or a voucher for the Yoshi game out later this month.

Amazon prime a gift for tomorrow and apologise for it being late. He won’t mind and will love having something to open.

Happyspud · 10/03/2019 06:45

Cinema vouchers definitely. My 6 yr old loves the cinema and is old enough to be really chuffed to pay himself for it with vouchers.

Some stores offer same day delivery for a fee like Argos, there's Amazon prime now with its 2hr delivery in some areas,

hidinginthenightgarden · 10/03/2019 06:56

Are you going to see him today? If not (assuming so as you don't live close) then just amazon prime a gift straight to his house.
My 6 yr old loves Knex, lego, slime and scienc kits.

Insect lore
You can send a voucher I think that they can then redeem to gave some caterpillars sent to them that they can raise to butterflies

FranklinTheCat · 10/03/2019 07:09

You can send Lego vouchers electronically...

AiryFairy1 · 10/03/2019 07:10

Agree with sending something a bit late. My child just had a birthday that was eked out over a week and I think appreciated his gifts slightly more ... although anything that wasn’t Lego has been politely stuffed in a storage cube “I’m more into Lego” Grin

ValleyoftheHorses · 10/03/2019 07:11

Playmobil have howctobtrain your dragon toys - amazon prime?

MutantDisco · 10/03/2019 07:11

Amazon Prime as PP have said. Lots of slime/science kits available.

RiojaHaze · 10/03/2019 07:34

From Amazon Prime, I just got our 6 year old nephew a small round drone type thing which hovers above your hand. That along with a Lego dinosaur and a book about where snot comes from by the Science Museum - all went down really well!
