I suspect some of you, like me, may have been children in the early 80s.

So:

Party fears two - the associates, which still sounds beautiful and otherworldly
You spin me round - dead or alive. Killer beat.
The story of the blues - the mighty wah. Just majestic
The killing moon - echo and the bunnymen. Donnie darko me up

Rolling Stones - Let it bleed (that intro gives me goosebumps!)
Libertines - Don’t look back in to the sun
Madness - Muse
Gold on the ceiling - the black keys

Avoncalling great isn’t it! I’ve had the best Saturday night in ages, as you say it’s years since you listen to the songs but you never forget the words 😍

I’m on the verge of opening another bottle of wine I’m having such a great time on YouTube off the back of this thread!

colouringinpro · 09/03/2019 23:36

@MountainPeakGeek thanks very much for the recommendation! I had a listen to a couple of the Birds of Bellwoods' tracks this morning & thoroughly enjoyed what I heard :)

MountainPeakGeek · 13/03/2019 19:52

No problem @lucysmam

Glad you enjoyed listening to them. I'm being purely selfish, though. I really rate them and they're still relatively unknown, so they rarely play outside of their local area. I live right across the other side of Canada, so I want more people to start listening to them so they become more successful and then they'll start touring further afield Grin
