Advice on where to stay in Guernsey

Have booked flights! Now need a nice hotel. Four nights in total. Just me and want a bit of a treat - perhaps not just b&b - a decent restaurant on site for a couple of evening meals would be good. Possibly a spa as fancy a couple of treatments but that isn't an absolute must. Have been told the bus service is fab so not really intending to hire a car.

Any suggestions as to hotel/locations gratefully received. I do like quiet as well.

SPP is very convenient as it is pretty much right in the middle of the island. There is a bus stop more or less outside which will take you either into town or in the other direction to the West Coast. I recommend dinner at The Rockmount pub by Cobo beach to watch the sunset. Very much my happy place!

Thank you @FriendofDorothy and everyone else for recommendations. Work is being bonkers at the mo so can't wait for my jaunt!

I've only been once so can't speak for any other hotels but we stayed at St Pierre Park and highly recommend it Smile was a lovely hotel in its self but the staff really went above and beyond (had a 6 month old baby with us) to help x

Just an update. Just got back and have had the BEST time. St Pierre Park was a bit dated but fine and well located. Park is fab. The Guernsey bus service is amazing. Did tons of bussing and walking. Jerbourg, Fermin Bay were particularly lovely. Just me, birdsong and fab views. Sark was great. So much birdsong and a traffic jam is two tractors on the same road. We had dolphins by the boat on the way back.

Food was yummy. I am now huge despite tons of walking.

Highly recommend Guernsey. Thank you for all the recommendations. Still got money on my Puffin Pass so will have to go back!

We stayed at The Mallard (has a cinema). Probably a new name now as we stayed there 21 years ago... And I came back pregnant! No reflection on the hotel!

I bussed past The Mallard. I think it's been made into apartments. The car park had seen better days.
