I bought these yesterday after seeing this thread and used them to make bread and butter pudding - split them, butter them, stick some apricot jam on them, put them in a dish and cover with custard, then bale for 30 mins. Heaven.

Sounds lovely. But 'literally'? That's not what literally means.

Yeah miss that absolutely didn't occur to anyone else on this thread at all.

Or perhaps they are just less anal, and better able to get the gist?
