Never going to get out ever again!?

Hoping someone has some new wisdom on this / tips to share. My 9 week old won't take a bottle and I'm worried she'll be dependent on me until she weans! I'm using expressed milk, heated slightly. My OH is giving the bottle when I'm out of the room. We've tried medela (LO couldn't get anything out of it when she did latch on, very frustrating for her) and avent natural and nuk. With the latter 2 she gags on the milk if it drips in her mouth before she's ready, or finds them too much/fast (even with newborn teat). She just cries and fusses with the bottle, gets herself worked up and if we're lucky might have 0.5-1oz before giving up and going to sleep, with most the milk just dripping out of her mouth. He's tried when she's recently been fed, so she's not ravenous. Any miracle tips??! We've been trying since 6 weeks in most days to get her to practise with small amounts, but to not much avail. It's very stressful hearing how upset she gets when he tries to give her the bottle and equally because I really need for her to be able to have a bottle for when I need to leave her for a few hours. Help!

No advice but this happened to a lot of friends and they all got through it, even the fussiest of babies. And you will go out again. It seems never ending now but it won’t be forever

You can try preemie teats if the normal newborn ones are too fast.

You can try the Tomee Tipee 'closer to nature' teats, I've always had success with those.

You can try formula and different types. I'm currently caring for a baby who loves the pre-made aptamil, but won't drink the powdered one! They're surprisingly fussy considering they should be following their natural instinct not to starve to death!!

You can just keep on trying and as she gets bigger/stronger she may take the bottle better.

But even if none of those things work, it won't be that long before she can go a few hours between feeds and you can leave her. Around 6 months weaning will start and the reliance on milk we get less.
