Anyone else's DC watch a film over and over again on a loop?

My DD is almost 8, she likes to watch the same film on a loop over and over again. Then she'll watch her favourite bits then learn the words and act it out. Then watches it and looks out for bits in the background that she might have missed.

Anyone else?

"Moana, make way, make way!"... At least twice a day, DS (2) thinks he's Maui.

The polar express

I loved the polar express before ds2 discovered it ,I even did a mock (although DC think it was real) whole polar express experience one Christmas

I loved the hot chocolate scene

Annnnnd now if I ever hear the blasted song again I may cry ...over and over again last Christmas

I swear I started to twitch at the beginning ...and possibly now have a Pavlovian reaction to jingly little bells that creates the urge to grab them scream " Santa's a horses ass " into the ether whilst hurling said jingly bell as far into the sky as possible

It doesn't help that prior to the obsession I bought a crapload of said bells for Christmas decorations

Oh and Peppa pig .....dp had I have exactly the same conversation about the rabbit lesson of the value of both working and stay at home parents every time...last time we realised we had actually discussed it the episode before because we knew it was coming !!

Love these memories because they are wonderful (but when they are memories ...not at the time !!)

My younger Dsis used to do this when we were kids, drove me bonkers

I used to get utterly obsessed with movies when I was a kid and watch them over and over. Both kids are showing similar traits 😄

Mine are obsessed with Toy Story over and over again, then they leave the room and we end up watching it over and over again 🙄

DH watched Star Wars Episode IV every single day for 2 years as a child
