Has anyone tried the goggles from this company?
goggleyed.co.uk/

DS (8) needs some presciption goggles to help him progress at swimming but I'm clueless where to start. They get good reviews but it would help to know if anyone has used them, or has other suggestions.

I always get my goggles from Prescription goggles. It made such a difference being able to see in the pool!

My DD (8) wears glasses, we ordered her prescription goggles through specsavers at her last eye test there. I think they took a couple of weeks to arrive in store & I can’t remember how much they cost, but they’re really good quality she can now see the end of the pool!!! Grin

Thanks CMOT I've had a quick look at them but they only say 'small adult' rather than child but I can ask them.

crafty I didn't know you could get them through specsavers, he is due an appointment is a few weeks so I'll go in and ask them when I make the appointment, thank you.

I got mine from Goggleyed about three years ago - they were very quick to arrive, quality was great and they are still going strong.

Thanks Grumble that's good to know.

Children's prescription goggles are £30 in Costco. You will have to book an appointment with the optician, even if you have the prescription, as the optician will need to sign off the paperwork. My son as a high prescription so they would have been £70 through our local independent optician.

I believe that legally you can't buy children's glasses online as they need to be dispensed by someone 'who knows what they are doing'. I assume that's why the goggles are marketed the way they are (for small adults rather than children).

That's interesting Empress and makes sense, I'll check out as many options as I can before ordering any.
