I have just finished watching them all for the millionth time and I’m still so disappointed in Rachel for getting off that plane

I think Monica and Chandler are a great pairing they remind me of me and dh (I even had my own version of Richard...hot, older etc) she is uptight and a control freak he is more level headed and laid back. She gives him more structure he peels her off the ceiling at times. They compliment each other and make each other a better version of themselves (and I am waaaayyy too over invested in this clearly)

She wasn’t important enough to Richard or Pete for them to put being with her before their own stuff. Chandler got over all his issues around commitment and immaturity in relationships to be good enough for her and was hot and funny, Richard was pretty dull really, the big tree.

The early relationship of M&C had a lot more heat than M&R too, so she got everything with him not just friendship.

I'm watching it on Netflix at the mo, and I think it's lovely how Chandler and Monica's relationship grows out of a friendship.
Richard was too old, and kids were always so important to Monica.
Also Chandler was funnier, better in bed (I can't confirm this.... unfortunately ) and they had all that shared history.
I met Matthew Perry once and he was utterly charming, very tall/broad shoulders and very good looking. (I haven't met Tom Selleck for a direct comparison though!)

I hate men with facial hair. It gives me the heebie jeebies so Tom selleck is a total turn off to me. Chandler was my favourite, he had the same sense of humour my DH has an that attracted me straight away. I have a quirky sense of humour and if a guy can make me laugh he’s halfway into my pants and I find him more attractive.

Absolutely. I'd rather have had a good decade or so with Richard (before having him admitted to Shady Pines and taking up with a toy boy), than decades upon decades with Chandler. Chandler was not sexy.

I could never understand why Chandler was made out to be hopeless with women and a loser compared to Joey. He was so good looking, especially in the early seasons. No one in their right mind would pick Joey no brains over Chandler funny and hot.

@Switsy see I found Joey so dopey it was cringey and I'd be embarrassed for him and that ruins any sexual attraction for me. I liked Chandler's quirks and the self deprecating sense of humour

Although I liked Joey's story about backpacking across Western Europe

I'm a very kind person and would be willing to overlook a lack of brain cells if I though they could give me an unforgettable few hours
