Infestation. Google and get rid. Beetles are still beetles even in fancy wrap.

Did you disappear because they smothered you?

I’d get something done about that, Be. Slippery characters, eels.

Eww. I think ladybirds are sweet but you can have too much of a good thing.

We were on holiday in Norfolk years ago, went on a day trip, and there were clouds of ladybirds everywhere. It was sweet at first but very quickly became very sinister as they swarmed and covered everything. I’ve never seen anything like it. Creepy AF.

I have escaped their pretty clutches!

Actually, I've no idea what happened. My phone had a hissy fit and I somehow ended up starting two threads. Here is the OP from the other thread:

Well, not full, exactly, but there are at least 5 or 6 in there. They started appearing 2-3 weeks ago, only ever 1 or 2 at a time, but this week there are more and more. Every day I find 1 or 2 dead on the floor or in the shower, and more on the walls than the day before.

What's happening? Do ladybirds hibernate, and this warm weather is bringing them out too early? Is there anything I can do about it? I'm finding it a bit freaky TBH.

Yes they hibernate, they are just waking up with the warm weather. Can you catch them, and put them outside if they bother you?

CoraPirbright · 28/02/2019 08:43

I have tonnes too. They over-winter in the window frame of my son’s room. When I opened the window for some reason during the winter and closed it again, the crunch was somewhat sickening! There is usually one or two buzzing around inside the house but they dont bother me so I dont bother them. In fact, in the spring I fully intend to scoop them into a jam jar and deposit them on any plants that have green fly on. They can have a feast!!

JellySlice · 28/02/2019 12:34

I will scoop and evict.
