Placed an ASOS order using their codes - £30 off if you spend over £175. Bought my sister some birthday presents and a couple of things for myself including some new (expensive for me) trainers. Which don't fit so I want to return them. Having looked on the site I see this message which just baffles me...maths never being my strong point.
"Where items are returned from orders made with these promo codes, which result in the total value of the order falling below the minimum spend, the items you keep will revert to full price and the refund you receive will be adjusted accordingly. Eg purchase 6 items for £257 and use a £30 off £175 code, you pay £227 (£257 - £30). As the promotion is calculated on total basket size, if you return one item (£85), it takes Your total original order to £172. This is £3 under the £175 threshold and means that the £30 discount is no longer valid and you won’t receive a refund for the returned item."
So is it worth returning anything if they aren't going to refund my money? I spent £237 minus the £30 promo so paid £212. The items I want to return total £94 (three items).
If anyone kind with a working maths brain can help I'd be very grateful! And yes... I should have read the small print first (not that I understand it).
