Please give some honest answers - trying to see if DS is the norm for his age.

On his own, mostly Horrible Histories and gaming videos on YouTube.

As a family (with 9yo DD and 15 yo DS), we watch a lot of good-natured comedies (B99, Good Place, Parks and Rec, One Day at a Time) and various superhero-type shows. He also likes Chuck and Stranger Things and he's enjoying the Umbrella Academy (these are all 15 but DS1 and I had already watched so I was happy the content was ok for DS2). He has a quirky sense of humour so he likes things to have a bit of a comedic edge.

I try and avoid things that are unkind or unnecessarily violent which is why although I take the rating into account I consider alongside other things. The younger two don't watch older comedies like Scrubs or Friends for that reason, even though they're rated lower than the ones we do watch.

DS 11 barely watches tv/ Netflix.
Youtube and Fortnite for him. Maybe once a month he'll watch a recording of Match of The Day if his team are on. Nothing else whatsoever.

I hate the fact that my two boys (12 & 14) barely watch any tv. I'd love to settle down as a family and watch a film, Saturday night tv, etc. but it's all about YouTube. My eldest does like Hunted but that's it.

Just seen a few mentions of Would I Lie to You? - forgot that my dd(11) loves that too! We also watch all the Voice/Dancing on Ice/Strictly/X Factor etc programmes, and she's been disappointed this year about there being no Saturday Night Takeaway Hmm. She also likes things like Long Lost Family, Who Do You Think You Are, and This Time Next Year, and has just sat and watched a few episodes of Scooby Doo! (we mainly watch freeview TV, we're very new to the world of Netflix!).

OK so lots of you tube on here. That's what he would watch all the time if we left him to it. They're drivel! Some gaming bloke taking through fortnite or other junk, usually swearing on it too Hmm
He will watch other things - enjoys films much more than me and will watch them in parts then pick them up again. He quite likes reality type documentaries like that back in time for school and the red arrows one.
I just wish you tube had never been invented!
