5ft 10, size 11.5 feet, thin as a pin and no sign of his voice breaking or any other sign of puberty.

I'm worried he's going to end up 6ft 10ins at this rate.

How does it work? Voice breaks and then they grow more and slow down?

First signs are normally growth of genitals and pubic/ underarm hair. Voice breaking is a later sign. Nhs says if no signs by the age of 14 to see a GP. Are you sure he hasn't got taller recently as growth spurts also occur during puberty?

My DS is 13. He’s 6’ last time I measured he was 5’11.5” and he’s grown a bit since then).
He grew madly, then other changes became noticeable. He’s doesn’t look like a child, the gangly legs, the structure of his shoulders look masculine now. His top lip is darkening. I didn’t think his voice had broken, but have heard his dad at home and then realised it’s DS- so clearly it has deepened more than I thought.
Did you DS shoot up rapidly? That’s usually a sign of puberty.

My DS only recently turned 15 and is 6’2’ I haven’t seen him naked for years but I don’t think his voice broke until year 10 or maybe the end of year 9. He is also extremely slim.

Have you got his red book? Look at the way the lines curve on the growth charts to see what is likely to happen to weight and height (and chart his current height, follow the line to its conclusion). It is my understanding that ‘growth potential’ is pretty solid, so some get there sooner than others (diet, hormones etc) but don’t carry on growing. Just my thoughts.
