Keloid question

So I have a tragus piercing that is 6 months old. It has developed a fluid filled blister type thing next to the piercing. (Possibly as I'm only sleeping on that side due to a new helix piercing in the other ear) It is a little bit sore but not red. Went to ask the piercer today who said I had a slight keloid forming, should use bio oil and it should go away. The fact it has fluid in it makes me want to pop it. I've read that keloids don't necessarily go away. Obviously he is more experienced than me. Can anyone reassure me with similar experiences please?

If it didn't look like it was fluid filled, I'd recommend pure tea tree oil. That gets rid of lumps on piercings. Fluid doesn't sound good though.

Keloids aren't fluid they are hard and personally the only thing that's ever gotten rid of them is steroids but those are keloids on scars not piercings so it might be different.

I would first try sea salt mixed in hot water like when you first have it pierced, see if it goes down. My lobe piercing occasionally comes up with a blistery thing, it’s most annoying.

I have a few keloid scars (the oldest being about 8 years old), and none of them have ever had fluid in them. I've never treated any of them, but there are treatments available if it's something you think you want to do.

None of mine are from piercings though so I don't know if it's different. I'd give the bio oil a try, but I've always thought that a keloid is just a thing that happens, there's no real rhyme or reason to it.

I have a large keloid scar and it never felt like it had fluid in it. Hard and for me it was painful. Mine was too big for bio oil but I used cica gel pads for about 5 years and had big success with those and now have a much less ugly and painful scar.
