White company stuff. (Body/bath/fragrance)
Pamper package at a local beauticians (nails, feet, lashes, massage)
Selfridges gift card and unlimited time to wander around the beauty hall getting spritzed and sampled before spunking entire life savings at Kiel's and Charlotte tilbury

PunkAssMoFo · 22/02/2019 10:02

I got asked the same yesterday:
Massage/facial....
That was all I could think of. I have plenty of perfume and I don’t need anymore ‘stuff’. DH is already taking me for a weekend away. Otherwise I might have asked for NT membership.

Its my birthday tomorrow and I've asked for a big snuggly cardigan, crocks or slip on flip flops to wear to take the bins out and hand cream.

My favourite presents over the years have been:

Electric nail file (when I opened it my reaction was WTF? but grew to love it)
Cast iron skillet
Potato ricer
Blanket (friend gave me a really cosy one which I have over me on the sofa)
Snake

WhoGivesADamnForAFlakeyBandit · 22/02/2019 11:39

Heated electric blanket throw
Bloody marvellous slippers
Merino socks
Top whack haircut

I would go for a coffee machine but not one of those pod ones. Keeping pods everywhere would drive me up the wall! So idealy a bean to cup machine but one that uses ground coffee would suffice goes to google coffee machines.

What ring size are you?

There's a Morganite ring on Qvc for £20, they've only got size P, though.

They had my size and I hummed and hawed until it sold out.

I want rose bushes for my Birthday. That'll free up my money to get new flags laid.

hellenbackagen · 22/02/2019 15:25

thanks for the suggestions....

im thinking voucher from the beauticians,
perfume
maybe a voucher for next so i can get some clothes/shoes
tan leather handbag

that should give him a bit of choice anyway.

My birthday next month, I would love some Milton Brown stuff and I've dropped hints about a trip out walking alpacas.

FurryDogMother · 22/02/2019 15:52

7 Lush bath bombs, and 7 evenings where I get an hour to soak in them.
An appointment for a nail-shaping manicure (I can do the polish myself, just they look a bit wonky at the moment).
Moulds, bicarb of soda, citric acid, essential oils, soap colourings so I can make my own bath bombs.
A meal out at my favourite seafood restaurant.
An ice-making machine for the summer.

Rockbird · 22/02/2019 15:56

AirPods. Asked for them for birthday and Christmas don't have them yet, too expensive Sad

bigbluebus · 22/02/2019 15:58

How about a voucher for an experience such as walking with hawks, owls or alpacas. My NDN did the alpaca one and my SIL has down the owl one.

Jojoanna · 22/02/2019 15:59

A mulberry handbag , I have wanted one for ages and I’m really old now ..

DelurkingAJ · 22/02/2019 16:01

I’m thinking of asking for Institute of Advanced Motoring lessons. I think I’m a fairly average driver and would like either to get better or to be reassured that I’m better than average!

One of my best birthday presents from dh was a trip to see Derren Brown live in London. We could easily have made it there and back in one day, but instead he arranged for friends to babysit overnight and booked a night in a beautiful hotel in central London. And we had dinner in London, too.

It felt like a little holiday.

I've had some lovely day trips as birthday treats, but it took dh a good few years to understand that, while I love our dc very much, having a break from them and having couple time for us makes a day trip a treat for me, rather than merely a family outing.

TemporaryPermanent · 22/02/2019 16:31

Day in bath including the thermae spa
A morning at an antique jewellery sale with a budget to spend
Lovely lunch out and a walk, planned by someone else
Curzon cinema membership
Theatre tokens
Joy by dior

DorothyZbornak · 22/02/2019 16:39

I want the Dyson Supersonic dryer, but since it's a stupid price I don't think I'm going to get it anytime soon.

caperplips · 22/02/2019 16:52

londonloves · 22/02/2019 17:05
