If you average it out
Inc bills holidays birthdays children’s activities like swimming etc

I’m going to do the Martin Lewis money makeover
Petrol
And food are high
And we are spending over 100 per month in one child’s activities but he seems to get a lot out of them so don’t want to cut back there but that’s a hefty amount really

8,921 gbp.

I know that because last month we set up a proper spreadsheet that accounts for everything - from regular monthly outgoings like rent, food shopping and mobile phone bills, to how much we need to put away each month to cover 'bigger' less frequent items like car insurance and life insurance renewal.

Disclaimer: we are not in the UK and have 2 kids not yet in school ( we have to pay for nursery for the oldest and a nanny for the youngest)
