Where in the U.K. should we go?

We’ve got three kids (6,10 and 11) plus a dog. Oldest and youngest children have autism but no mobility issues. They enjoy nature and love being outside. We’re trying to decide on holidays in the U.K. where should we go? Would love a bit of nature and beaches basically being outside (though I know weather can be unpredictable). Any help would be hugely appreciated as we’ve only just started holidays as the youngest couldn’t cope before.

Another vote for Northumberland, huge empty beaches, Harry Potter castle complete with broomstick lessons, a huge bookshop with a train set running through it in an old railway station and great relaxed family pubs. Can you tell we love it.
