It’s tonight.
I don’t dislike my hair enough to want to sit for a few hours having it trimmed and coloured.
If she wasn’t my friend I would definitely have cancelled this morning but I feel bad, letting her down. She won’t fill the slot at this late notice I shouldn’t think so it means she won’t earn any money this evening.

My hair probably could do with the attention but I’m not feeling the love for anything right now, least of all tarting my hair up.

WWYD?

Oh don't cancel
Bring some wine and relax while she does it you'll feel good after

Why will it take a few hours?

willywillywillywilly · 20/02/2019 13:31

No you definitely can't cancel. It will be ok when you get there Flowers

BifsWif · 20/02/2019 13:32

If you cancel you should offer to pay at this short notice.

Your friend shouldn’t be out of pocket because you can’t be bothered.

Tomtontom · 20/02/2019 13:32

If you do cancel, you should pay her for her time. It's not fair for her to lose out because you've changed your mind at such short notice.

BifsWif · 20/02/2019 13:33

That sounded harsh and wasn’t meant to, sorry - I get the ‘can’t be bothered’ feeling, but if you force yourself you might have a nice time.

mckenzie · 20/02/2019 13:36

thanks for the replies. You're all right of course. it's not fair on her to cancel.
If I regret it tomorrow though (ie don't like the new cut/colour) I'll be back and blaming you all Grin

I shouldn't drink wine (medical condition = no alcohol)
2 hours because I'm having colour and because it's at home there is no hair dryer to sit under to make the colour take quicker.

Why do you have to have a ‘new’ cut or colour? Are you acting as a model for her to trial some new colour or restyle? If not can’t you just have a trim of the present style and either no colour or what you have now? I have the same person every 5 weeks and have had the same style and colour for a while.
