I've just finished One Tree Hill

I've just finished OTH.
I have literally loved this series. I am so upset now I've finished. I love it as much as I loved Skins (and How I Met Your Mother).

So, I'm looking for suggestions for the next series I should watch. On a similar vine to these ones.

I need to fill the hole left in my evenings.

In fact I had a little moment in last season of Grey’s when Hayley popped up. Not as Hayley obviously. But still. I was 😬😬😬

InsomniaTho · 21/02/2019 07:32

Greys Anatomy is on Prime and Now TV

Gilmore Girls on Netflix

Dawsons Creek is on All 4

I LOVED OTH and also love Desperate Housewives! Gossip Girl books were very good x

Friday Night Lights, The OC and Greys Anatomy (be warned - it’s so sad 😭) would be my votes

ShadyLady53 · 21/02/2019 07:53

OMG OTH Sad my favourite ever.

I ALSO loved it so much I went to North Carolina and stayed in Wilmington. The River Court has gone but I sat on Haley and Nathan’s Bench! It has “Don’t say I never gave you anything” carved into it.

Also visited what was Karen’s Cafe, the major characters homes, stood at the exact point where Haley and Nathan had their first kiss (yes, I’m obsessed), had coffee from the place they bought their coffee, visited the Black Cat Shoppe (aka the Record Store).

The beach is also where the opening credits of Dawson’s Creek were filmed. I ponced around under the pier while singing “I don’t wanna wait”.

I was 31 at the time. I was trying to invoke the Naley love gods to bring me my true love.

I’m not ashamed.

I think Grey’s Anatomy is your best bet. Gilmore Girls is good too and I also loved Anne with an E even though it’s aimed at kids! On the back of this I’m going to watch Riverdale and re-try Gossip Girl.

CurbsideProphet · 21/02/2019 13:48

@ShadyLady53 that sounds like the greatest trip ever Smile

I'm currently watching Gilmore Girls from the start. I don't know why I didn't watch it back in the day. I adore it. I'm at season 5 and it's just early 2000s glorious-ness Smile

A dog ate his heart...

Definitely need a rewatch :-) so many cute moments.. And many slightly bizzare but still. Memories

BestFriendsWithSky · 21/02/2019 16:01

Haven’t read the thread but how about Friday Night Lights as perfect as TV comes even if you don’t care about American football.

TheDragonFromDreams · 29/09/2019 00:12

This is an old thread but in case anyone is still lurking Amazon Prime seem to be on a glorious 2000s rerun phase...

Currently available OTH, The OC, Ally McBeal...

dudsville · 29/09/2019 01:23

I had the CD sound tracks from The OC. Such great music. I must look those up!

dudsville · 29/09/2019 01:25

OTH is on Amazon prime?

897654321abcvrufhfgg · 29/09/2019 01:28

OTH, The OC, Dawson’s Creek then Ally Mcbeal are my Amazon prime watchlist currently

BeverlyGoldbergsHairAndJumpers · 29/09/2019 01:44

Modern Family

Doingtheboxerbeat · 29/09/2019 03:40

OTH was the worst IMHO, but I was in lust with Chad Michael Murray so I hung on.
The fact that they referred to each other with last names used to wind me up big time.

Ilovemyhairbeingstroked · 29/09/2019 11:59

@erja I loved Dan even when he was bad . Loved this series , definitely try greys anatomy- amazing !

GlitteredAcorns · 29/09/2019 12:07

Anyone seen Parenthood?
What about Everwood?

Deathraystare · 29/09/2019 13:56

I used t love One Tree Hill. I had a few of the DVD's but wanted to get the whole set.

IndieTara · 29/09/2019 16:08

Does anyone know where I can stream Hart of Dixie ?

tryagain22 · 29/09/2019 19:18

I loved OTH, but once I found out how much of a douche Chad Michael Murray actually was it was ruined for me. Imagine cheating on your wife with Paris Hilton...especially when your wife was Sophia Bush Hmm

(I adored Sophie Bush, and Brooke, so I was doubly enraged at him. I honestly cannot watch anything he's in without wanting to punch his smug smirking face!)

tryagain22 · 29/09/2019 19:30

Agree with all the previous recs for The OC. Some shows do not age well, but I rewatched it recently and still enjoyed it. I'm not sure I could watch Dawson's Creek again though, I think I'd find it a bit cringe now, although I adored it at the time (that might just be lingering resentment over the fact that they ruined my favourite couple though Blush)

Does anyone know where I can stream Hart of Dixie ?

Aww I loved this, would love to watch it again!

yetanothernane · 29/09/2019 19:41

Desperate housewives is fantastic! It probably got a tad rediculous towards the end, but I was hooked and to be fair it must be hard to come up with so much scandle with a handful of characters 🤷 Also the oc is very similar to oth.
