I've been developing these spots since about August last year. First noticed a few on my back and then they appeared on my belly and neck/collarbone area.

They aren't painful or itchy at all, literally no other symptoms apart from these weird spots. They're more browny than red. The first pic is my belly (sorry Grin) and the second is on my neck.

I've looked into ringworm but they're not itchy or scaly.

I'm in my mid 20s so probably not age related, in good health, no sun beds etc.

Am I about to turn into the next Spider-Man???

Now it looks like rosacea to me Grin every single suggestion I think 'yes that's it!' and then I'm convinced by the next suggestionGrin I'll pop to the pharmacy later in the week and report back

DP has this, it's a fungal infection, he saw the GP who prescribed something and it cleared up fairly quickly.

I think possible pityriasis versicolor, a yeast infection, similar to what other people have mentioned. Although it would be better if I could see it in real life Smile.

Is it across your whole back/tummy, or only one half/side?

TheSmallestEgg · 19/02/2019 21:00

The ones on my stomach are central, the back ones are on my left side and my neck ones on both sides by the big one (2nd pic) is on my left too.

Agree with pityriasis versicolor. I developed it when pregnant. Treated with Ketoconizole.

I have eczema patches that come up like this. Usually in the cold weather as I think the more layers on my skin, the more it irritates.

I was thinking they look like cafe au lait spots, but they’re usually on one side of the body only (like shingles) plus you’re usually born with them, though they can grow and more can develop when you’re older.

I have eczema that pops up when I’m stressed and it looks like this. Doesn’t itch and only know it’s there if I catch it in the mirror. The first time I noticed it I went to the doctor and he thought it looked like ringworm. He did some swabs that came back normal. They both look very much the same but ringworm is contagious.
