What is your favourite bath product?

Currently using up my last “Shoot for the Stars” bath bomb. I love it because of the colours and the smell. I think it is meant to make the bath look like van Gogh’s “Starry Night”... although I could be v wrong!
Only downside is that it is so creamy that I keep sliding down the bath!

Which bath bomb/ product shall I indulge in next?

Lush snow fairy ,sad when xmas is over & cant get anymore.

CheeseRolls · 17/02/2019 21:32

Laura Mercier fresh fig honey bath.

It's about 33£. But amazing.

Dinsey70 · 17/02/2019 21:40

Aromatherapy Associates Deep Stress relief oil. WHOLE house smells divine afterwards.
I don't have a bath atm though so really miss it.

The Sanctuary bath elixir. I love the scent.

eyeoresancerre · 18/02/2019 07:25

Mewe, yes outrageously expensive but as a Christmas and Birthday gift not too bad. I think it works out at 40p a bath. I like a cost per go number - softens the blow a bit!

MinnieMountain · 18/02/2019 07:39

Any recommendations for dry/sensitive skin?

I've got some Clinique bath foam that was a present but I prefer more natural smells.

BeeFarseer · 18/02/2019 08:14

Following!

I'm another fan of Lush's butterball, it's so softening and the scent is lovely. It reminds me of burnt caramel and marshmallows, but my DH reckons it's vanilla.

I'm a sucker for anything almond, if anyone has any recommendations?

Sadiesnakes · 18/02/2019 08:39

@BeeFarseer l'occitane almond shower oil, pricy but smells amazing! I buy the refill bag and it lasts ages using a scrub mitt.

WellTidy · 18/02/2019 08:47

Body shop does Almond shower gel, which I use as bubble bath. It is about a fiver for 250ml. I really like it for the bath, but I agree that Occitane shower oil (it foams into the smoothest and softest bubbles) is fantastic.

Fresta · 18/02/2019 13:14

I'm done with bath bombs- they make such a mess of the bath, when you shave your legs the hair sticks to you and the sides of the bath, and who wants to be covered in bits of glitter and petals- yuck!

Elemis bath milk is my favourite if you want something moisturising or I love Neals Yard aromatic bubble bath before bed to help relax as it smell very natural of lavender and eucalyptus.

Losingthechubrub · 18/02/2019 13:18

I am addicted to this stuff, both as a soak and a body scrub. It's about £3 in larger branches of Home Bargains too

Neom - their relaxing bath foam is just gorgeous.

Disco3000 · 18/02/2019 13:39

I read that heavily scented bath bombs from a certain cruelty free place are also known as thrush bombs.....

eyeoresancerre · 18/02/2019 13:50

Can I ask a quick question? Epsom and Himalayan salts. Why are they so good & what do they do? I keep seeing them in Boots.

notanothernam · 18/02/2019 13:52

@Disco3000 haha I've not heard of that expression but have heard similar, I've never had any issues myself but can imagine anything like Lush would be awful for anyone sensitive!

kelper · 18/02/2019 13:54

Lush's bubble bar "The comforter" which is blackcurrant scented. I break it into 8 pieces, it goes quite a long way.
I also love Fenjel, which my mum always recommended for post birth baths.
There seems to be a lack of decent bubble bath in the supermarkets now, Tescos choice is rubbish, and even waitrose today had 2 different flavours, they used to do a ginger and something one that was just lovely!

MotherWol · 18/02/2019 13:58

REN Moroccan Rose bath oil smells lovely, not cheap but very gorgeous. Weleda bath milk is also nice and good value - I particularly like the invigorating rosemary and the soothing rose one.

Margot33 · 18/02/2019 13:59

I use sea salt in the bath. Its so cleansing and relaxing. Bath bombs give me thrush.

cjpark · 18/02/2019 14:22

The Soap Co Rose bath oil is wonderful. It’s made by visual impaired staff and smells like a walk through a rose garden.

Mewe · 18/02/2019 14:25

I am trying out Sainsburys own lavender bubble bath and it is quite nice.
I like the sound of bath salts - what effect do they produce? Feel like a right green wally here but I have never tried salts only bubble bath and bath bombs.

Clarins Bain des Plantes relax - my Sunday night treat. Love the posh smell of it!

lotusbell · 18/02/2019 14:57

@Shylo, I don't have a local Waitrose but have heard such good things about this I'm willing to travel to my nearest branch to buy it

lotusbell · 18/02/2019 14:59

@Kelper, yes, my favourite! Haven't lived in a house with a bath for nearly 3 years so I miss bubble bars. Just clinging on to the last of the shower cream Sad

lotusbell · 18/02/2019 15:01

@eyeoresancerre I think it is to do with mineral content and drawing toxins out of the body.

missyB1 · 18/02/2019 15:03

I use either Dr Salts from Waitrose or Westlab himalayan salts - £3 in Asda.
