It's busier than ever and yet it's dark.

To those commenting on drivers here: those who drive over it regularly like me do treat it as different to other crossings. What you may not be able to see is the times that cars stop as they should, and pedestrians don’t cross as they are waiting for an empty road. So you have this endless loop of cars stopping, people not crossing, people crossing and standing in the road for ages ignoring the cats, and drivers just occasionally being a bit more assertive than they should .

I think you would have to treat it differently Working or you would never get anywhere. Hand on horn maybe?

And is now titting around on the crossing can’t decide if they are a normal nutter or doing the virtual geocache.
Either way very entertaining.

Nobody there yet. Very little traffic too. Surely if you wanted a great photo early in the morning is the best time?

Tourists don't seem to get up early. Til around 10am is a great time in London to walk the streets.

A pre breakfast walk across the crossing should be a thing.

Ah we have a couple of tits that keep walking to the middle of the crossing taking a photo and then running back and repeating it again. Someone is going to go ape at then in a minute

Oh my god the cars don’t know if they should stop or not there are that many people titting around at the sides. Has there ever been anyone knocked over if not then it’s a miracle

I have been there. I did not walk across the crossing, as it would have seemed inappropriate somehow, as I was going to record in Abbey Road Studios.

Bloody hell a women has just dragged three kids into the crossing and made them stand there with a truck coming towards them. The kids are trying to get off the crossing but she is pulling them back out.
There is also a massive group standing in the middle of the junction to turn left after the crossing and cars are having to swing around them.
