Pay more to fly Virgin?

I am looking at booking flights to NYC in October half term. Random companies are about £30 less than Virgin. Does it matter for a direct flight? Thanks

I don’t think Virgin are all that anymore tbh

Who are the "random companies"?

I'd pay more not to fly with Virgin.

Ha ha, ok thanks. Good question. Flight companies unknown to me.

Are you sure it will actually be a virgin plane? They often code share with delta.

You must know who is operating the flights?

3in4years · 16/02/2019 14:42

Well on closer inspection it looks like most of the flights are Virgin, but sold through various companies. Thanks for the replies.

Right, you're looking at booking agents, not the flight itself.

Always check the booking conditions attached to the ticket. Also look at reviews for each agent before booking.

I always find it better to book directly with the airline for flight only purchases - it just removes a layer of complexity.

No, virgin were quite poor when we flew with them - very rude in fact. (If a family bother to prebook seats months ahead 2 behind 2 because asd kid likes to watch the wings don't move them to 4 across the centre!!!!)

TBF anniehm under almost all conditions that would have been welcomed, and was staff going above and beyond. The folks on the plane can't tell if you got stiffed with that seating or pre-booked it intentionally.
