Dd is obsessed with making and playing with slime. As a result I have little blobs on my carpets. Anyone got any tips for getting it out? Angry

Adoption?

Oh. Crunch it and scrape up as much as possible. Sponge full of 1/3 warm water and 2/3 white vinegar. Stiff brush, scrub at it. It's all manual, I'm afraid.

Got mine out with a steam cleaner - steam and then rub with a cloth x

Hair dryer to make it soften again and pull it off.

I used a white vinegar spray (stardrops) and sponge which worked on a larger stain.

Adoption? Grin slightly extreme

Thanks everyone, will try vinegar/stardrops

If it's made with PVA glue, hot water gets it's out. The hotter the better, it's usually water soluble.

How old is DD? Get her to do it so she's more careful next time!
As pp said, vinegar should work.

Furniture polish. Leave for a few mins, it lifts right off. Works on blutack, gum etc. Do a test area first though.

Stardrops worked a treat. Thanks FlowersCake

I've got some slime out with Sticky Stuff remover from b&q. I don't know if all slime is the same - also drops of boiling water helps to rehydrate it although obviously depends on the carpet. I've got glue out with rubbing olive oil in and rubbing with a sponge, that took a bit of work but it came out.
