I have no idea what is wrong with me

On 30th Jan I took ill very quickly with the flu. I was in bed for the best part of a week. The following Wednesday I went back to my daily activities but it was a long day and it knocked me back. I was back in bed most of the weekend. This week I was again back to my usual activities but I have had extreme fatigue. I could sleep for hours and still wake up feeling like a zombie. I was falling asleep on the bus which is not like me at all. I had no other symptoms until today.

I woke up feeling unwell but I walked the kids to school and since I got back I have had the chills, my legs are weak, I'm dizzy and lightheaded when I stand up and I am nauseous. I have had to arrange for someone else to collect them.

Is this still the flu, over two weeks later even though I have no coughing or runny nose type symptoms?

I feel awful but just not awful enough to feel like it warrants seeing the doctor. My DH is mister minimiser so he is no use at all. What do you all think?

It's still the flu. I've had flu, as opposed to manflu, which I'm not permitted, only once. It crushed me for over a month, including having full on panic attacks.
Rest as much as you can, eat little and often, stay off alcohol.

Thanks. I feel like I'm going crazy because everything I read online says it should be away after two weeks.

I am in so much pain now. Painkillers are making it worse.

Post Viral Syndrome. Not uncommon after flu. Absolute sheer knackeredness, very poor resilience, low mood, general acheyness.

Nothing you can do about it other than rest as much as you can, and ensure that you drink plenty and eat healthily.

While you are still recovering, never do more than 75% of what you can do. Stop before you reach your limit. Rest before you are exhausted. If at all possible, take a regular afternoon nap.

Check your vitamin D sounds like you could be very low on b12 too.
